I'll just say it: The Traxxas 2075 servo is mediocre at best at least in my Stampede 4x4 VXL. It's weak and under steers in all but low speed driving. This servo installed in about 10 minutes. I had to reuse the old servo horn because the included one was too long. This servo has an aluminum outer shell and feels much heavier in the hand. I put one battery pack through it so far. This servo is awesome in my Stampede. It turns very confidently and deliberately now. I can't speak about it's long-term durability YET, but I highly recommend this upgraded servo. And, yes, it's a tremendous improvement over the Traxxas servo.

Bought to test its quality before starting on a serious boat project. Worked great. The servo arm is fairly thick where the push rod hinge hooks. This required me to custom make a clevis for this purpose. No complaints about quality.
