A&W Diet Root Beer Fridge Pack Cans, 355 mL, 12 Pack

Tastes a treat, almost exactly to the original root beer flavour, with a slight difference mostly in texture. As you'd expect, the full-fat version is more "syrupy" and sweet, this diet one is thinner with a bit of a "dry" flavour, but I find I actually prefer that so your judgement may be personal. A little expensive as should be expected for an import drink (these come from Canada), so if you really do love that taste, try 'em!

When you can't get any root beer in the UK very easily, this does the trick. But from the packaging this is obviously Canadian not American and doesn't taste quite the same, seems less sweet and the root beer flavour isn't as strong as A&W's US root beer. Probably better for you as it's probably an ingredient banned everywhere but the US that's missing. All that said it's still ok for price and does still taste good, just not what I was expecting.

If there is another brand out there, I don't want to know. The No.1 greatest and only Root Beer I've ever tasted. I bought a box for my birthday and let me tell you right now it was the best and only present I bought myself, except that 1kg bag of peanut m&ms

Lovely when ice cold. It's a shame we can't get it easily in the UK and the price is highwhen you can..

I love Root Beer, but I'm trying very much to cut down on my sugar intake, and so I thought I'd give this a go, but wasn't expecting much from it. I was genuinely and pleasantly surprised that the taste - while not identical to full-sugar Root Beer, is pretty close to the genuine article, and more than sufficient for my needs as a result. You won't be disappointed.
