AV Access 1080P HDMI Extender 164ft Over Cat6, Budget HDMI Over Ethernet, IR Control, Plug & Play, Ideal for TV, Projector, Home & Office Use (HDEX40-L)

No HDMI cable behind the wall so I had to use the built in Ethernet connection to hide the cable from the cabinet to the TV. The power over Ethernet feature sold me on this one and it's working flawlessly from my Denon with a 1080p signal showing on the TV. However, the IR part didn't work for me. Note: it's configured with the IR receiver on the HDMI transmitter box and the IR blaster on the HDMI receiver box. I needed the opposite configuration with the IR blaster on the HDMI receiver up at the TV so I could pass through its power on/off signal from the cabinet. I tried to simply reverse them but did not work. No big deal - that was secondary to the video part which is great!

Product works great. Only have Ethernet from closet to 65in 4K TV. Didn’t want to spend too much on 4K extender so chose this one. No lag from my audio/video receiver through the extenders and to the TV. My installation was less than 30 meters using 5e UDP cable. Tried the remote transmitters and everything worked great. Plugged right in and just worked. Picture quality at 1080P was excellent. Only downside is no ARC if using Smart TV display. Otherwise you have to spend $300 on other extenders that have the audio return channel. Best to just Bluetooth the audio back to the receiver.

I use them in a Post Production Sound Studio. I have 2 of these and they just work . Never an issue . Great quality and value . Buy it !

I ran cat6 cable about 75 feet to two tv monitors and it didn’t work, so I pulled the cat6 out and ran Cat5e and they work great. So I guess these unit don’t work with cat6

No image when using with a 50 ft cat 7 cable. I tested another (more expensive of course) brand with the same cable and devices that worked properly, so it’s something with this device.

I have bought a few of these before for a project I was work on and the work very well the device are in case on a metal housing and they come with small mounting bracket that allow you to attached them anywhere . The signal so great there is now signal drop out and it is easy to setup. The boxes are small you can place them any where he or are are strong It will pick up from 6 to 8 feet away unobstructed of course the comes with tape so you can place it anywhere . I would definitely refer this product to anyone beginners and professionals .

I ended up returning these and replacing with a slightly more expensive set. They do work in transmitting low latency 1080p video and audio. Tested out to around 100ft of quality cat6 unshielded cable. However they do need to be rebooted a few times a week, which is not ideal. Also no CEC, TV can't tell what kind of device is hooked up and everything needs to be set manually. Also the IR function is basically useless. Have to be inches from the sensor and even then it's hit or miss. I replaced this with a more expensive unit that looks similar and uses the same sensor/emitter, but has a 24vdc power supply instead of 5vdc like these do. I suspect this makes a difference, as the 24v version's IR repeating works flawlessly even from long distances but with the same exact sensor and emitter. Also the more expensive version supports CEC, so for compatible devices you won't even need the IR repeater for basic functions. I'd skip this one.

In the day of false ratings, this product meets the high ratings. Our church just got 6 and all work great even at a 125 foot cable length. I’m a newbie in video distribution and my lesson learned is: if your extender is 60Hz, you can not use a 30Hz switch or splitter.

cat8 S/FTP の15mケーブルで、30mモードでたまに瞬間ブラックアウトして、心配なので50mモードで運用しました。 リップシンク的には、気になるほどの遅延も無く、画質もまあまあでした。 モードで30m/50mがあるくらいなので、せめて30mまではいって欲しかったですね。手持ちのSTPフラットタイプ30mでは映りませんでした。ケーブルの相性があるようにも感じます。15m以内であればこの値段でいい買い物だと思うので星３つです！
