Summit Treestands Shoulder & Tether Straps

These are like the ones that came with my Open Shot climber, and I like them so much I ordered them for my ultra lite hang on. I like how you can tighten the elastic straps so you get a comfortable fit that hugs your body without digging into your shoulders. It can be a little fiddly getting the straps attached just right. I'm also not sure if the stretch part of the straps would be long enough to fully wrap the shoulders for a bigger dude with thick clothing or if it would stretch too much on a heavier stand, but I think it's a simple, comfortable, and affordable set of straps for someone with an average build using a lighter stand. Also like how it came with the bungee tether so I can add a second one to my climber.

I have been using the Summit open shot climber treestand since the first year they came out , these back straps are the only ones that do not slide when you go to put the treestand on your back.

Definitely more comfortable than the ones that come with the Summit Steel Viper. The only negative I have about this is that the tether strap is made of plastic.

IMO it’s a must have upgrade for your summit stand. The shoulder straps are more comfortable than the standard straps. The real clincher is the tether. The original tether has a bad habit of getting stuck between the stand and tree, leading to a cut tether. I went through two nylon tethers before getting this kit. It’s not a great feeling when you finish climbing only to find you now have two short tethers. The new tether is more of a bungee style which keeps it from getting caught up. I climbed with this setup over a dozen times this season with zero issues. The only drawback is not having bought the kit sooner.

These products make the perfect accessory for your climber. Comfortable and useful in the woods where it’s needed the most to get from point A to B.

These straps are way better than thanks to the elastic on them I carry an old summit viper with them and they make the walk 10x better.

Do not hesitate on this purchase! It absolutely fits my summit climber! The materials are great! The padding in seat is comfortable. The straps are solid and works as good as the original! I have three summit stands and as each needs a new pad I will purchase this product for each of them!

I don't use climbers, but I do use hang-on stands and I like to be able to be mobile with them. This strap works perfect on my Gorilla hang-ons. Not sure why they only advertise it as a climber strap, as it is a great option for hang-ons as well. It's super lightweight, simple to use and seems good and durable. I got it late in the season and went in to retrieve a stand, not knowing how this strap would perform.... Had my stand strapped up in a couple minutes and walked out with it on my back with zero issues. The suspension that the straps provide is perfect as well. I also used to tether cord to attach my range finder to my bino harness... :) The price point is exactly where it should be for what it is. You can't go wrong! Any other tree stand backpack straps I looked at were at least twice the price. I definitely recommend this product!

Like the shoulder straps not a fan of the tether. They are comfortable.
