If there were 10 stars available, I would give it a 10! The blanket is just wonderful. It is large and very well made - thicker than many of the same style. I washed it gently on a cool setting and dried on low heat and it turned out even more soft and comfortable. Also warm! Took a great nap with it the other day and I use it while I watch favorite tv shows. I even ordered a second one for my daughter who is in healthcare in San Francisco as a "virtual hug". LOVE, LOVE, LOVE! And the organization is great - thoughtful towards the communities.

My ex is Mexican American, together we visited Matamoros, Mexico, many times. Each and every time we went, I would bring back at least a couple Mexican blankets to Florida with me. I just love Mexican blankets. They can be used as a yoga mat, as a table cloth, they're great for the beach, so they're so versatile. Also they are comfortable, sturdy blankets which get better (softer) with each wash. A Mexican blanket will last you literally forever- unless you're like me and lose them in a move! This was my issue with the purchase- if you go to Mexico and buy a blanket, they're so inexpensive. Just a couple dollars. So paying 26 bucks for a Mexican blankets bothered me. That said, I'm so happy with this purchase! This is the most beautiful Mexican blanket I've ever seen! The birds are gorgeous, I can't tell you how vibrant their colors are! It isn't just a lavender color, I'm taking close up pics so you can see but the camera isn't doing it Justice! There's blue hues, pinks, whites, peach, etc. all woven into the purple color. It's stunning! And, I don't even feel the need to wash it before using- it's already soft! On top of that- and this may be the very best part- your purchase goes to helping fight "poverty and Injustice" in Mexico 💜 Heck yeah! I see myself buying several Mexican blankets from this company! It's definitely worth the money!

I really like my “go anywhere” blanket. This material is great for wear and tear. I keep my blanket in my car and use it often. Camping and being outdoors is a regular for me through the rugged Southern California winters (keep thinking it’s all sunshine and rainbows here we pay a lot for that image). With these lows just above freezing, I have been a little cold lately and this blanket is so nice to just throw around my shoulders to kill that bit of chilliness. I roll it up and keep it with my pack and roll it out for lunch and anytime I’m just in the mood to throw out a blanket and hang out for a bit. Sitting in a chair at my tailgate with tunes, on the hillside watching a sunrise, or hanging out until midnight down at the beach it all is more comfortable with this rad blanket.

Great blanket for multi-purpose use. I got it originally as a yoga mat substitute because I hate the texture of synthetic yoga mats especially when I’m sweating. This blanket is awesome looking, the woven texture looks natural and handmade, is rough but not too rough to be comfortable. I’ve used it as a sleeping mat during camping and Ill be taking it with me on backpacking trips to use as a blanket when I’m hammock camping. It looks cool, feels cool, and a great value for its price. My only critique with it is that it sheds quite a bit when you first get it. Through one wash and consistent use I’m noticing a slow down in shedding but just an FYI for future buyers.

It’s not quite the blanket you would get south of the border but it’s pretty nice and the color is better in person. I use it outside and like the ones I have bought in Mexico, it holds up well. I only need to shake and brush it off. It’s also softer then the others I have owned so it’s a big win in my book. Definitely worth the price.

Nice blankets. Bought 2 to cover my rv couches. They look so good. Pretty soft. The bird colors are eh but this blanket was $20 cheaper than the one with pretty colored birds. It shedded and shrunk when dried on low BUT it stretched back out when I pulled on the weave a little. I wish it was 2 inches longer but overall satisfied. It’s has been a week and if anything changes I’ll update my review.

This is a beautiful, quality blanket. The color is a little lighter than expected but I like it better. It's perfect for taking to yoga or curling up on the couch. I went to a restaurant the other day and it was FREEZING in there. Since I had the blanket in the car, I went out and got it and wrapped it around myself. Very warm. I would highly recommend this and thinking about getting another one in the other color.

Nice violet colour, machine washed on cold/delicate and tumble dried low with wool dryer balls. Nothing came apart like another review mentioned. Soft to touch. If anything changes will update my review. So far very happy with purchase!
