The Ultimate Kitchen Appliance!
The George Foreman 8-Serving Classic Plate Grill and Panini Press is an absolute gem in my kitchen! From its sleek design to its incredible performance, this appliance has quickly become a favorite for cooking delicious and healthy meals for my family. First and foremost, the size of this grill is perfect for serving a large group. With its 8-serving capacity, I can easily cook enough food for everyone in one go, saving both time and effort. It's great for family gatherings, parties, or simply when you have a hungry crowd to feed. The adjustable temperature control is a fantastic feature. It allows me to customize the cooking temperature based on the type of food I'm grilling, ensuring perfectly cooked meals every time. Whether it's grilling juicy burgers or making crispy paninis, this grill handles it all flawlessly. The classic plate design with its non-stick coating is a game-changer. It ensures that the food doesn't stick to the surface, making clean-up a breeze. I no longer have to worry about scrubbing off stubborn residue after cooking. The panini press function is an added bonus. It transforms simple sandwiches into gourmet paninis with beautiful grill marks, elevating my lunchtime routine to a whole new level. I also appreciate the floating hinge on the grill, which allows it to adjust to the thickness of the food being cooked. This feature ensures even cooking, and I've had consistent results with everything from thick steaks to thin sandwiches. The platinum color of the grill adds a touch of elegance to my kitchen countertop. It's a stylish appliance that I'm proud to showcase to my guests. Safety is a top priority, and the cool-touch handle and indicator lights provide peace of mind during operation. In summary, the George Foreman 8-Serving Classic Plate Grill and Panini Press (GR2121P) is a versatile, efficient, and user-friendly kitchen appliance that I can't recommend enough. Its ample size, adjustable temperature, and easy cleaning make it a joy to use. Whether you're a seasoned cook or a beginner, this grill is a must-have for anyone who loves delicious and healthy home-cooked meals. Get one for your kitchen, and you won't be disappointed!

I love this thing
The surface is large compared to my last two grills so that is a plus. I've only used it to reheat already cooked food until now. My first experience with raw food (bacon) is wholly insufficient. Breakfast is gonna take while. I have the temperature maxed out and it doesn't cook as quickly as my previous grill. Additionally, they didn't include one of those crappy little spatulas with it. Come on guys, what does it cost to include a little piece of molded plastic, maybe twelve cents? That's just wrong. Crappy little spatulas are iconic to the George Foreman grill brand. Fortunately I still have a couple of them from my previous grills. On the plus side, the nonstick surface cleans up really easily. Just heat it up a bit and sprinkle some water on it with your fingers and it wipes down very nicely with a paper towel. I guess I didn't realize I had totally used up my last grill because I had scrub a bit to get it semi-clean. I guess we had eaten all the nonstick surface on our food. That's probably gonna be a problem. OK the bacon's done. Lets see how it handles hash browns. Update: The hash browns are OK but seem to cook a bit unevenly. The little hinged kickstand is nice because we can make the hash browns flat as they don't need to drain fat, that's a waste of good olive oil. The nonstick surface really is nonstick. I don't believe my last grill was this nonstick straight out of the box. On to the eggs, I think I might try to make an omelet. With the nonstick and the flat surface it just might work. Last update: I now officially love this thing. It is super easy to clean, it doesn't get as hot as my previous George Foreman, but that's probably a good thing. I've learned to just be a bit more patient and as a result I tend to get better quality in my cooking output. I tried cooking eggs on it and it does work in a pinch, but you get something more like a scrambled quiche instead of an omelet so I recommend you just use your normal egg cooking utensils. I'm stilled pissed about my not getting one of those crappy little spatulas though.

Large, improved grill; Size shown with photos
The biggest issue with choosing one of these, especially to replace one that you've had for a while, is the SIZE of the grill. Hence the photos I've attached to show the true size. That is a standard 12-inch ruler in the photos. The interior plates are 12 inches wide and 10 inches tall. This is a fairly large appliance and somewhat cumbersome. You need a place to store it; fortunately, you can store it standing on end, but it's still pretty big. Like so many of you, this was a replacement from a smaller, one-temp version that we had for years and which did a great job. We've had this grill for about 6 months now and have used it a few times. We mostly grill burgers but have plans to use it for salmon fillets, chicken, and sandwiches/paninis. I haven't experimented with the variable temps, but the GF grill we had before didn't include this feature and I doubt it will make a big difference for us. I do like the larger drip pan; it's quite an improvement from the small oval ones of the past appliance. As for cleaning, I read a lot about the removable-plate versions of the George Forman grills, but still bought this one for the larger size. I keep a small spray bottle of water near the grill, and after cooking is over, simply spritz the plates with the water while it's still warm. I use a paper towel to remove the grease and residue. Works like a charm.

Excellent quality. It would be good if additional cost were not involved in terms of getting a step down voltage convertor for indian conditions.

Works great. We love it.

The voltage required for this is 120v at 60hz as this is imported from USA. Indian electricity voltage is 240 at 50hz. Even with a voltage converter you can only convert 240 to 120 but not the cycles(hz) resulting in damage of product in 2 min. Better to order directly from Amazon UK as UK has standards similar to India. Learnt all this after damaging my product. Had broken it to pieces in frustration

Haven’t used it yet but it is big so it’s good for a small family. Says fits 8 but looks like it’ll fit 5-6 burgers in it. Still worth the price. Can’t wait to use it.
