Worth Every Penny!
Beautiful ring! Very well made, shiny, smooth, and feels so comfortable on my middle finger. It's substantial enough that it doesn't bend easily. If you use your ring as a fidget gadget or as a splint, or if you accidentally catch it on something, it won't easily get pulled out of shape. My arthritic fingers aren't strong enough to adjust it by myself. I'm sure my husband can adjust it if needed someday when my knuckles need more room.

Didn't turn my finger green and works well as a splint
This silver ring works well for a mallet finger and a joint that's out of alignment. It is adjustable with careful bending to avoid breaking the seam. I'm ordering a second one to have on hand if I lose it. The spiral shape allows me to wear it so there's no pressure on my knuckles, which causes pain. Some have mentioned that it turned their finger green, but that didn't happen at all. Sterling silver and any gold other than 24 karat gold are alloys, and contain copper. Any metal that contains copper can turn your skin green. That means 14k gold, 18k gold, sterling silver, brass, bronze, or pewter can all do this. Beautiful option for a splint.

Worth every dollar for many reasons!
I ordered one prior on July 11th...lost it two days ago while shopping. I have had Mallet Thumb for almost a year now and the doctors say just give it time....I've tried braces and other devices to help my thumb...nothing really worked. I ordered this ring...and honestly it helped more within the last two weeks than any other orthopedic device given to me or that I previously ordered to cure my injury to my thumb. I absolutely loved this ring for the price, comfort, stability, and also the beauty of it being a "ring" and have gotten compliments about the ring....however I use it as a medical device to help straighten my Mallet Thumb. So, since I lost mine the other day....I ordered another one immediately once I got home. This ring is awesome!

Beautiful but poor fit
Beautiful ring, but unfortunately I had to return it. The length was too long for my finger and the fit was not right. Additionally, there were some minor rough edges that made the ring slightly uncomfortable for me.

Mallet finger splint!
I tore loose the extender tendon on the tip of my middle finger while scrubbing the upholstery on my back seat, aka Mallet Finger. I *hated* the splint I was given at the hospital. ("Stax" type.) Bulky, sweaty, smelly plastic, completely covering my fingertip. I saw this ring online while googling alternatives, and I'm really glad I took the chance and paid for it. It's open enough to breathe, the finger tip is open so I can feel things, like when I'm digging around in my purse, I can wash my hands and do housework without worrying about getting it wet, and it doesn't look, well, like a splint. And as a bonus, once the tendon has (hopefully) healed, I can just turn it around and have a pretty silver ring. You will need to do some gentle bending and shaping for the first day or two, to get it into the right shape to support the tip, allow the middle joint to flex, and not slide off. But once you do have it set, you can pretty much forget about it.

Needed this to work
The ring doesn’t extend far enough over the knuckle to prevent hyper-extension. I’ve tried it on every finger. I have classic long and gangly eds/marfan hands but they are swollen right now. You can see from the palm view that you can’t lower the ring any more. The metal is ductile but looks like it will break with too much maneuvering. There’s no way it will fit my hands to do the intended bracing.

If you have tiny hands then it might be perfect for you
Cute ring but one size fits all is not an accurate description of this ring. When you bend it open to "fit any size" it distorts the rings looks. It's too big for a pinky and too small for a ring finger. If you have tiny hands then it might be perfect for you. I regularly wear a size 7 on my ring finger so you can judge if this is the right ring for you.

Classy style
Nicely made. I am very happy with the support this ring gives my finger.
