Easy to install
Easy to wire in, saved lots of $$ by changing it myself before having a tech come and do it.

Worked as advertised.
Worked perfectly. Wires were pre-stripped so installation was largely effortless.

Replaced broken original
The rear power stabilizer switch on my 2016 Forest River broke internally and stopped working. The rocker part of the switch would flop up and down with no resistance. I rarely use the switches as my trailer is equipped with a remote control, but I still wanted an operational switch as a backup. The install was quick and easy and the switch works. Hopefully it lasts longer than the original.

hook it up correctly and you are going to have years of use
Perfect replacement switch! Gonna need your own mounting hardware but it’s still 5star because this replacement is way better than the factory switch

Better than the original
When my stabilizing jack legs wouldn’t extend, I thought it was best to start by replacing the cheapest part in the system. When I removed four screws and looked at the switch that was originally installed, I couldn’t believe how cheaply-made it was. The new switch is sealed to protect the internal contacts and is made so much better. It is an easy install. The two larger wires run to the battery. The two narrow wires are for extend or retract. It’s that simple. Quality product.

good quality switch
The replacement switches were better quality than the originals. They were hermetically sealed. However the labeling on the front was reversed so a couple of the wires had to be swapped and everything worked great.

Direct factory replacement
I bought this switch to replace what I believe to be a faulty switch on my 2017 Forrest River travel trailer. The exterior switch was not working for the levelers but the remote was working to control them. When I went to replace the switch I noticed that the wiring had been damaged, I fixed the damaged wiring and the original switch started working so I kept this as a backup.

Good replacement for you RV extend and retrack stablizers
The old switch breaks down because it is poorly designed and moisture and water vapor rust up the contacts because they are pure copper and turn green / blackish. The new switch is encased in black resin to prevent this. The whole switch design is not that good IMO. You will needed to buy 4 metal contacts to crimp on the replacement switch's wires so they plug into the RV's wires. You can get these at any auto parts store. Then you are back in business. Symptoms of a bad switch is that it goes up but not down. Or you have to push hard and rock the switch back and forth until it works. It only gets worse with time. This Amazon switch was the cheapest I could find on the internet. Everyone else wanted +$40. Thank goodness it wasn't the stabilizer motor. Those are serious $$$$.

Bought this switch for my Winnebago stabilizer jack and it worked great.

Perfect replacement for stabilizer jack. Both of mine went limp at the same time, and these were a perfect replacement. If you're from Canada, look at purchasing them from the US site, because they're half the price.

I liked the cover that protects the switch. The colour coding for the motor wiring was backwards for extend retract to my trailer. The original components I changed were Atwood products. It was easy enough to wire up. The switch wires were a 14AWG and the trailer wiring was 10AWG again not a huge issue just make sure you have a selection of inline connectors. Install was pretty easy with some basic tools wire stripper, crimper, connectors, and tape. I do the fact the back of the Lippert unit is sealed seems the contacts are more protected that way. I did modify the cut out slightly to make these fit the screw mounting holes did match up and there is a nice gasket that sits between the face of the switch and the trailer.

The original switch was 2 years old and it wasn't a covered switch like this one, this one is far superior as it is waterproof.

The switch came as advertised. One problem is if you wire it bc up and color match all the wires. It is backwards. Retract is Extend and Extend is Retract. Easy way to fix this is get a black magic marker and black out the white lettering. Other than the mix up All Good
