WHAT YOU MUST KNOW!
You may think from my photo that it's unstable (since 2 ppl are holding it). NOT at all true... I just had two assistants holding it due to sporadic high winds, and the legs sinking into the sand... NOW TO MY REVIEW! PROS: · Price. Can you get better? YES! Can you get better in this price range? HECK NO! · Sturdy. This bad boy is sturdy. On the day of this shoot it took a beating, and was modified to every position imaginable (in the photo for example, we'd just done a laying photo, and rather than adjust the whole stand again, I rotated & put the arm out to its max). CONS: · It's HEAVY, very heavy. That makes it difficult to adjust, but it also helped in the really high winds... People talked about how heavy this is. They weren't kidding. ADVICE: Get "baby pins", other adaptors & another grip to help with function. Get the lighter model if you're moving the stand a lot. IN SHORT Fantastic for the price. Sturdy. Heavy AF

Excellent quality
This is a well built product. Nothing flimsy about it. It is the most stable light stand I have used. Everything can be easily secured. The center poles have air cushion at the bottom. It will save my equipment in case slip down when adjusting the heights. Good thinking! I’m glad I paid extra for the model that comes with a height adjustable 3rd leg. It provides more flexibility to use in a not flat surface or other tricky places. It is also handled the overhead shot with my Nikon D850 and heavy lenses confidently. If you are a professional, it would be a excellent choice as a long term investment. Of course, it is not a lightweight portable light stand.

Well made, sturdy
Can't really ask for more than a nice sturdy and well made c-stand. I guess price is also a factor but frankly, don't cheap out on things holding up your expensive lighting and camera equipment.

A truly class "A" C-Stand
I do a lot of photo and video production and have found this a fantastic light stand, one that is well designed, durable, and functional. I appreciate the quality materials and ease of adjustment as well as the ability to place it on flat or inclined/stepped surfaces. It's not lightweight by any means, but I wouldn't trust it with my expensive equipment if it was less sturdily built. In fact, it's heavy enough that you can tell it's designed more for studio work than for portable use in the field. For example, you can't align all 3 legs for easy carrying without using the included Allen wrench and it doesn't come with a carrying case/bag. Nevertheless, I've dragged it out on location simply by separating the boom from the main stand several times without much difficulty. It probably goes without saying, but if you haven't owned a c-stand before you should know that it will require a few sandbags if you're using anything semi-heavy (more than 5 or 6 pounds) on the boom, such as a continuous output light and deflector or umbrella. Neweer's brand bags are as good as any, though I use weights from an old fitness vest instead of sand so that they don't make any mess. I've found it balances a bit better with a counterweight on the boom arm too, but that's somewhat optional based on your strength and use case. All-in-all this is a very good c-stand, well worth what I paid for it.

Very solid build with slight flaws
This c stand has very solid build and definitely sturdy enough to hold you expensive gear. If you are stuck on name brands than this c stand is not for you. If you are just looking for a c stand that is built solid and sturdy and will handle the job despite little cosmetic issue and will not break the bank, than this c stand if for you. I have been testing this thing under very windy conditions of course with sand bag using a Godox AD400pro and a Neewer 300W strobe light and this thing performed like a champion. I actually do not have any qualms trusting my very expensive gear mounted on this under any circumstances. Now for the down side I have saw some reviews that talk about rust. I may see this on mine but it mostly imaginary probably because I heard this. I did see something that looks a little like it could rust but definitely not as pronounced as the review indicates and this is not the slight flaw that I am really speaking about. The foam on mine came in with a cut in it straight out the box. This is nothing that I would believe is going to last the life time of the c stand anyway. I would recommend using some tape around it any to protect it from the weather elements anyway. I don't even consider this reason to return. I know I could probably spend more money for something that will not do a better job and who know it could flaws as well. The cut in the foam is the only reason I just gave it 4 stars and if I could give it 4.5 stars I would. Gret product, save your money and get some more gear.

Excellent quality
I was dubious about buying this because of the cost. Now that I received it and have used it several times it is worth the money. Very well built. I expect to have this for a long time. Only comment for others to consider is that it's big and heavy. Make sure you know how you are going to move it. It fits diagonally inside my full-size car but that could be a problem for some users.

Solid C-stand for good price
This C-stand is a good value and a solid piece of equipment. The sliding leg is a great feature for small spaces or rough ground.

I will break this down into two parts 1) The ordering 2) Delivery 1) Ordering is excellent with no issues along the information provided by the supplier. Even though this is classified as used, it looks brand new. Ignoring the packaging, the product is sturdy, well built and heavy. Which is exactly what I need to hold my strobe and diffuser. The parts are well made and tough. The turtle base is sturdy, reliable and tough. The large leg can go up and down, thus making it flexible and adaptable in all situations. 2) Delivery notification = 10/10, arrival 0/10. The courier left the package on my doorstep without waiting for a reply when she rang my bell. The packaging was ripped in two places. She claimed that how she received it. Her excuse for leaving it in my doorway "It's safe." Amazan has to do better when vetting these people as the package was not safe.

Mighty, awesome bit of kit. But, lightweight it is not! I mean, you can transport it if you wish, but it is really intended for studio work. Having said that, it is robust and gives a great feeling of security and stability to your setup. If you are serious about your work then this is for you.
