Fan works equally in both AC and DC.I have hybrid ceiling fan of other company too they run faster on AC power than DC power.I used solar panels charging battery to power this fan (12v).We can't see any speed variations while switching from AC to DC and vice versa.one of the other competitor fan do shows variation while switching from AC to DC

i like the x4 blade against atom's x3..breeze-wise, jupiter has an edge since i had to literally bend atom's blades (crude job but worked!) with plyers to get some wind out of it literally...lol....otherwise atoms breeze was reaching only afoot below the fan! (none of this was the case with jupiter)...jupiter's x4 blade and 6-speed is something different and gives some decent breeze.. But only in a 1 foot radius circle !remotes: jupiters remote has to be directed a certain extent to its device which isnt the case with atomberg (makes contact off walls!)smartphone access: atomberg scores here again over jupiter....this feature helped us many times when we couldnt find atom's remote (sometimes days!) we gladly used our smartphones to control the fan!...this feature truly gives the fan an edge over regular fans (which isnt the case in jupiter - no smartphone acess!)overall: if only not for the breeze issue (some minute blade-design flaw i guess) in atomberg - it would be atomberg over jupiter i would choose for a third fan..!update: april 2021... Makes two years and Jupiter's so far so good... All 6 speeds working fine... On the other hand my atomberg bdlc fan that makes 4 years 2 months...conked y'day !... Will updateUpdate:. AFTER 2 YEARS 5 MONTHS.... It CONKED TODAY, AUGUST 15th 2021

Rpm is less as vompare to other fans, waste of money

The media could not be loaded. After using some months it is found that the air flow is not as expected. Air flow is little low and not adequate.Update :- After using of 2 year 4 months the fan is running fine till now. But there is an issue with air flow. It's air flow is lower than other I using. Other hand it is good. 6 speeds and other functions are working fine.

The product is good, works smoothly and the best part is that you can control the speed with a remote. In colder days you can just change the speed of the fan without waking up from the bed. The LED light also helps, you can use that as a night light while sleeping. 30 watts of power consumption is much lower than your regular fan which is upto 75 watts, that means two of these efficient fans can be used in place of a regular one.

I bought this fan it worked 3 months . Started slowing down with chick chick noise then burnt. Got replacement from vendor. After 2 months slowed down with chick chick noise. Now i replaced with a normal. This useless fan is lying with me. I took to a known repair shop they say its a design fault and cant be repaired.
