Seachem Laboratories Prime, 250 ml

The story starts with my old established tank being broken by relatives kid and it just broke glass on base and one side. i have large angels, peacock rainbows, corycats and bosemani ranibows. i decided to make a new tank instead of fixing the old one, due to the size issues i had to give it 3 days after siliconing it to let it dry out, by that time the bacteria in my filter might not have survived as there was no circulation in filter. i brought prime to cure my issue of new tank syndrome as it was going to be a fully stocked tank, thankfully i had my sponge filter working in bucket so it had the bacteria colony from my old tank. seachem prime did what it was suppose to do, it helped me set up a tank and i just lost 1 fish. Its costly but considering its a highly concentrated solution and you just need 7ml for 300L (my tank is actually 290L) it would last you a long time. if you use any chlorine remover, you can replace it with this. it also converts ammonia/nitrate. please do remember adding this is not the end all of your regular maintenance, you will still need to change the water depending on stocking level of your tank and tank size. i highly recommend this and in long run it turns out to be around same cost as any other item.

Highly concentrated require very less quantity to de-chlorinate my entire 150 gallon tank just 3 full caps....can use prime before directly in tank along with fish and use chlorine water directly into the tank during water change... dechlorinate water instantly

Prime bottle has double stiker . Below stiker is in Hindhi. Also another stiker mention month of import date. First time found actually Hindi stiker in prime bottle.

A must have for any aquarium. Been using it since 2 years now and works like a charm. Dissolves quickly and acts rapidly.

Good bacteria build up is seen and nice rise in levels of nitrates. Still in process of cycling can update the result later

This is the gold standard of water conditioners. Its ammonia and nitrite removal in a bottle. Test water params with reagent based kit, like API, and use this if ammonia or nitrites are too high. Also use to dechlorinate the water.

Highly concentrated solution .only a amall amount of the liquid is needed to remove chlorine and chloramine .5ml for every 50 gallons .It will smell a bit like rotten egg but this is normal .will easily last for more than 6 months, unlike stress coat which is very diluted when compared to seachem prime and does the exact same thing !!

Le produit a un réel impact sur les analyses d'eau, très efficace à petite dose. Seul aspect dérangeant: son odeur de soufre à l'ouverture de la bouteille. Mais une fois dans l'eau ça ne sent rien. J'ai reçu par contre une bouteille abimée, l'embouchure était tordue et une fois enlevé l'opercule, l'étanchéité était compromise, j'ai dû transvaser le produit dans une autre bouteille.

I ordered the 250 ml Seachem Prime mainly for convenience and because the price was about the same as my local store. I’ve used it a few times now for water changes in my aquarium, and it’s been great — no problems at all with the fish. The product has a strong smell (kind of sulphur-like), but that’s totally normal for Prime and goes away quickly once it’s in the tank. I like that it works fast and only needs a small amount each time, so even a small bottle lasts ages. It’s definitely one of those essentials that makes fishkeeping easier. Overall, a solid choice for anyone who keeps freshwater or tropical fish and wants a trusted, effective conditioner.
