Compact Auto Open/Close Umbrella, Black, One Size

I recently purchased this black umbrella from Samsonite, and I’m genuinely impressed. The build quality is outstanding, it feels sturdy and durable, even in strong winds. The automatic open/close button works smoothly and makes it easy to use with one hand, which is great when you're on the go. The black fabric has a sleek, professional look, and the water resistance is top-notch. After a heavy rain, it dried quickly without any signs of wear. The handle is comfortable and offers a good grip, even when wet. This is by far one of the best umbrellas I’ve owned practical, stylish, and made to last. Highly recommend it if you're looking for something reliable and well-made.

This is exactly the umbrella I have been looking for, mainly for use while traveling. It's light weight and not too long so it fits in my carry on tote. It opens and retracts as well as my larger, heavier umbrella. I have no problem holding it while it's open and rain is pouring. I haven't tested it in heavier winds yet, but it seems sturdy enough to me to handle the winds effectively.

If you are looking for a super compact and lightweight umbrella from a good brand, this is it. Was too small for me.

Three key points for labeling as best POCKET travel umbrella; less than 8 oz, only 10 inches folded and thin, just over an inch. Check all the other mini umbrellas and you can not beat that combination. The shorter ones are too fat and too hard to refold. This one is easy to engage and refold. I have researched and tried way too many. There are others that get higher marks for sturdiness but they are too bulky for your pocket. This one fits in my front pocket, back pocket and even my utility pocket without being bulky in all 3 measurements.

This is good quality, but only big enough for one person. Compact and sturdy.

Ordered this for my Briggs & Riley Baseline rear umbrella pocket (max length 10.5”) expecting the Samsonite brand meant better quality. It felt cheap and flimsy out of the package and then a rib snapped the first time I used it. Extra awful because I bought another as a gift for a friend with the same luggage. Embarrassing!

This sturdy, very lightweight umbrella is a WINNER: reliable, handsome, easy to use. For air travel, I don't check luggage, I lug everything, minimal weight is a priority, and this was perfect for my needs. Ordered as a last minute item for my trip, thrilled to use it hiking in NY rainfall. Minimally compact when folded into case. Sweet!
