Baka Beautiful NATURAL HAIR RELAXER, NO CHEMICALS

This product worked good on my 100% thick gray hair. Made it soft and smooth including my edges. I recommend that you use rose water with it instead of tap water and if you buy the kit it comes with the rose water. Also, if your hair is dull and dry like mine mix in alittle bit of argan oil in it this will leave your hair smooth and easier to manage. Lastly, if you have any questions call the telephone number on the product. The person I spoke to was so kind. She educated me on some things I did not know about the product and patiently walked me through the process. One big thing I learned is you cannot apply it like a regular hair relaxer you have to apply it like a hair mask. Put it on your hands and run it through your hair and wrap hair with Saran wrap not a plastic cap...So big thumbs up for that information it helped me get good results.

I didn't like it at all. It dried my hair out so bad that I had to get it cut.

I think the product worked fine. I liked the way my hair felt after using it. But for $15 you should get much more than 2 oz...but that's my fault for not reading lol. I can get bentonite clay cheaper and in a bigger jar, works just as well.

This product doesnt straighten your hair it only makes it manageable and easier to straighten it when using whatever means you use to straighten your hair. I didnt have a geating cap, so it said i could sit under the dryer witout one. DON'T USE WITHOUT A HEATING CAP! the clay dries and flakes off everywhere. I gave it a 4 for the fact that they didnt say you must buy rose hip water & argan oil to add to the product. I bought those on amazon as wel, though not their brand. Cold pressed argan oil & organic rose hip water not pricey at all.

I have been in transition and like many women of color...I have joined the new trend.....I have decided to go natural! I love the affect of this natural relaxer because I can still remain true to my natural roots but still acquire manageability. I have tried a variety of products during my transition. Many of these product are unused because upon careful examination, I have discovered that they have chemical ingredients instead of a natural ingredients. Baka is Beautiful because it is really all natural. The results were satisfying and amazing. I can't wait for my next application. I recommend this product for women that have their hair in a natural state but want defined curls. I recommend this product to women who enjoy using natural hair care products!!!!!

It made my curls pop while it was in my hair, but it didn't do anything else to it. And I could get the same result from Bentonite Clay which is much cheaper. I think it made my curls pop slightly more than Bentonite Clay, but after you wash it out, it all looks the same. I have been using mud such as this to care for my hair -- I will also say it has slightly lightened the color of my hair but only slightly. I was about 1B before I started using mud (all muds, not just this one) and I would say that 1B is much more pronounced. In the sunlight, my hair looks like it has multiple spots of reddish brown. Overall, it still looks like dark hair so nothing significant. Anyway, this really is not worth the money. I'd recommend buying bentonite clay, heat up some water, put a ton of honey in there, a spoonful or two of apple cider vinegar or lemon juice and then put your inexpensive clay. You'll get the same results. Oh -- hahaha also --- hell to the no, this did NOT relax my hair. I view this product as a clay mask, so I completely forgot that it is claiming to loosen your hair pattern over time. Let me tell you that is a big NO! The back of my head is 4A and I will admit that the back of my head is looser, but again, it is the SAME RESULTS I got from using cheap bentonite clay. And my 4C hair (all over the rest of my head) is still super kinky. No change in hair pattern.

Purchase at your own expense. This product is too expensive. Do your research, there are other clays that can be used to help with the texture of your hair. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I didn't use and wasted my money on a product that I will not be using.

It's not a real relaxer, but it's ok. Definitely makes for softer, shinier hair.

Did not say I need to use once a week for 3 times before it works when the product was only enough for 1 use. Also needed other items for it to work.
