4 Ounce Stainless Steel Ice Scoop

This ice scoop is exactly what I needed for my home bar. The 4-ounce size is perfect for filling glasses or small ice buckets without spilling, and the stainless steel feels solid and durable. This scoop turned out to be exactly what I was looking for. After my ice chute iced over, I had to obtain cubes by opining the freezer and reaching in. Needless to say I felt I was risking frostbite every time I wanted a cool drink. I switched to using our kitchen tongs, but that was a little tedious. Using a regular or measuring cup was a turnoff. Then I noticed this lovely, shiny scoop, which was also excellently priced! I could not resist it! " I put this beautiful, yet practical item on my "Needs, not Wants" List. I waited for 2 or 3 days, concerned it might be dull and cheap looking, or worse yet, it's mere 4 ounce capacity would be woefully inadequate for my varied cube sizes. I was pleasantly surprised that this scoop turned out to be the perfect size, it shines like a mirror and dare I say it? This stainless steel ice scoop 4 Ounce Stainless Steel Ice Scoop exceeded my expectations! A rarity for me. Now every time I have to get ice cubes via opening my freezer door, I get to do so with class and elegance. I'm now looking for an ice bucket worthy to share my kitchen counter with this. "Ta Ta"

Don't expect this to be fancy its handle is not a solid full rounded hunk of metal, its made of sheet stainless and welded together from 2 pieces of steel. this is not a fancy serving wear item. it is a decent quality bar ware item. It will be used in my bottom freezer's ice bin and should serve well.

Water spots but who cares? Works great.

Likes: – simple design – well-made – true to the measurement 4 ounces – works for salt concerns: – this might be too thin for some applications… I bought this use for Epsom salt and that works fine – it's not the most attractive piece/you can see the tack marks from welding overall: I purchased this ice scoop to be used in a tub of salt. It works well for this application, as I leave the scooper in the salt tub. For someone that might have this out… Let's say in a bar setting...this might not be aesthetically pleasing. From a functional standpoint, it works perfectly and measures 4 ounces. I can imagine that if you were going to use this on really hard ice it may flex and bend. The material is pretty thin. I included some pictures to give you a better idea. I hope this helped you make a decision.

The quality of the material for this particular scooper is perfect easy to clean the perfect size to pick up quite a few bits of ice. Comfortable to hold in your hand. it looks sleek and smooth when you hang it on the side of like an icemaker

I mean, it’s $6- what do you expect. It’s better than the plastic one that comes with the ice machine. That, and the price earn it 3 stars. It’s a star equivalent to a C-. The metal is thin and the handle uncomfortable. It’s a cheap scoop that if someone throws away I won’t be upset. I suppose it’s an excellent disposable scoop.
