World Book Encyclopedia 2018, 22 Volume Set

Pretty good quality articles with good quality pictures. Obviously not as wide-ranging as Wikipedia but the quality of the articles present is very good compared to Wikipedia.

Excellent reference and I wanted this set since I was a child. But terribly disappointed with what the seller has done with the maps. The maps in the entire set have this weird sticker on top covering most of readable content. If they just mention this warning in the cover it would have been fine. Why the heck does someone have to put this sticker on top of each and every map in the full series. The real dumbness of this task baffles me!!

Going off of the description of the product i was most worried. Getting books second hand and paying nearly 400 dollars will put anyone on edge. I know the importance of a great encyclopedia and I'm glad that I took that chance. This is the best way to teach children the importance of books, the importance of digging for answers and to be honest....it's the safest. I cannot stress the quality of these books. Maybe it's because today's youth don't use books anymore but these books were for the most part untouched, felt unopened even. Anyone whose opened a new book knows that sound and smell as it splits open the first time. These books had that exact same response when I received them. Don't worry about the condition, the pages are nice and color full and quite thick. Nothing flimsy about them and a must have for any home library.

Decent encyclopedia, but very limited in some areas.

Brand new set of encyclopedias, each book individually shrink wrapped, in mint condition. The only issue we had was with USPS delivery that took over 15 days but that has nothing to do with this seller or the excellent quality of these books.

I bought this for my middle and Junior High School grandchildren. My son, their father, had "studied" an earlier Edition when he was in high school. Overtime he ended up reading most of the Books' cover to cover. Extremely understandable. Piqued his curiosity to learn tremendously. He wanted this for his three children as well.
