Ordered yesterday as my car came up with an engine warning light, as a bit skinned at the moment I thought I give this a try to find out what was going on. Simply connected to the OBD connector and I found out my temperature sensor is not working. So glad I got this as I now can take my car to the trusted garage to get it fixed asap Worked straight out of the box. No fuzz. Love it

For the price and ease of use I think everyone should grab one of these, always handy to know what’s up with a car and fault codes are all on the internet so it’s easy to see if something is serious.

When the engine light comes on as a non-mechanical person your only sensible option is to take your car to the garage for diagnosis. Depending on your vehicle and its age this can be costly particularly if you use a main dealer, in money as well as time. Once bought, using this it is straightforward to reset the engine light at no extra cost. If it comes back on then take the car to the garage for diagnosis and repair. If it does not then problem solved, although I would mention it to the garage at next opportunity. Using this device it is easy once the DLC connector is located in the car. Clear screens and intuitive menus enables a quick clearance of codes. Having it plug into the cars DLC makes it easy to set up with no faffing with a phone app. This device is ideal for checking the error codes for the occasional check engine light.

Easy to use, clear instructions. Reads faults quickly and saves on expensive diagnostic checks in the garage.

I am giving this 3 stars because i dontthink it quite works on the amount off cars its offered out to work on. This had been used on a total off 30 cars/vans through my company that needed a quick reading to get a head start before the garage man takes it. We had 2 readings only. this is a very broken down basic technology version. it will be hit and miss if it will give you that mechanical headstart

Plugged it into my BMW640i GT which has a emergency call unavailable issue. I changed the battery a couple of weeks ago but needed to clear the code for the message to come off the dash and iDrive. I plugged in the reader and it says no codes to read? I cleared the codes in any case but its still there. I git the SS button 3 times fast and the car was in diagnostic mode, it connects to the car and I can see the VIN in vehicle info but it cant see any faults even though I have had one for months !

Worked perfectly to identify and clear an engine warning light on my motorcycle (make sure you buy an adapter). Five stars prevented by terrible instructions! Had to figure out by random poking at the screen.

Ich habe ein Gerät gesucht mit dem ich preiswert Auslesen kann, warum meine Abgaskontrollleuchte immer wieder mal Signal gibt. Der Fehlercode wurde einwandfrei ausgelesen und ließ sich problemlos löschen. Die Bedienung ist einfach und fast selbsterklärend. Die Betriebssprache ließ sich einfach auf deutsch ändern, allerdings blieb die Fehlermeldung Englisch....da muss man dann den Code mal googeln und findet problemlos OBD 2 Codes.... Ist für das Geld vielleicht auch ein bisschen viel verlangt. Alles in Allem eine praktische, handliche Geschichte. Und man kann besser einschätzen, was gerade los ist. Klare Kaufempfehlung. Ein Punkt Abzug, weil die BA ausschließlich Englisch ist.

Reads some fault codes and not others. Decent for the price but probably better off spending a bit more to avoid frustration.
