Perfect
Absolutely, amazing in frostings and baked goods it tasted amazing. And it was thick. Personally, I love the quality of this one, and it does bake well. I was a little surprised about the scent but I just like a stronger vanilla extract when baked in so it functions well if you're wanting to use less vanilla extract for the same flavor I had no leakages, though it is packaged in a way where it could leak. It is not taped off, it has one thin seal on the outside of the lid

Favorite Vanilla Bean Paste
Title says it all. Rodelle’s has a robust and natural vanilla flavor. I much prefer this brand over “Madagascar Vanilla Bean Paste” with the green label. Rodelle’s brand is a little pricier, but it’s worth it! I use vanilla bean paste to flavor homemade yogurt, adding it after fermentation is complete. Clean, robust flavor! My friend prefers this brand for her homemade Blackberry-Vanilla jam, too. Really, it subs perfectly for vanilla extract, without adding additional liquid.

Delicious and saving me SO much money
I bought this to make my own vanilla syrup for coffee. I used to leave the house JUST to go get an iced coffee. Or, if I was out of the house, I would say, "hey, since I'm out..." But not anymore! I would MUCH rather make my own. It tastes SO much better and the ingredients are simply; coffe and syrup (which is water, sugar and this vanilla bean paste.) No nonsense. No artificial or "natural" flavors, preservatives, etc. I will continue to buy this and recommend to everyone! And just so everyone can enjoy like I do: Vanilla Syrup for coffee: 1cup sugar 1cup water Boil until sugar is dissolved Turn off heat Stir in 1 tbs Vanilla Bean Paste Let cool Put it in a mason jar and store in the fridge! Easy! Thank you Rodelle for a great product!

May come loose or leaky
It came leaky, half the bottle gone. Womp womp. The product itself is thick but pourable. I’m not sure what this specific product is supposed to look like in its original and best state, but when I opened it, a pressure of gas came out (almost white-cloud like) and I did notice the product itself is not as dark as other vanilla bean pastes I’m accustomed to using. I tasted it with a toothpick (cuz hey, why not right? Lol) and it’s as mentioned, very vanilla and no alcohol taste. I’m a baker so when buying ingredients like these and they come damaged it sucks. Non returnable so I have to wait for another one to come in. But I kind of wanna try again, looks like it’s a good vanilla and could go a good way if it only arrived unhinged 😩

YUM!
Finally--vanilla that TASTES as good as it smells! I didn't realize that liquid vanilla was created by treating vanilla beans with alcohol. That would explain why it smells great but tastes awful! With the vanilla paste, my icing tasted wonderful with no bitter alcohol aftertaste.

Yummy and Easy to Use
This stuff is our go to vanilla. The consistency is thick but pours smoothly. We love putting it in all our baked goods. Makes everything seem extra fancy with vanilla flakes. I don't measure with this stuff I just pour a little into everything we bake - because of this sometimes we get crystalization on the sides of the bottle. No biggie - seems like good value for money.

Super charged Flavor
I kept reading that I needed to up my vanilla game while baking. I started using Vanilla Bean paste in place of extract. The pundits were right! The result was definitely worth the investment. Rodelle vanilla bean paste added a smooth vanilla zing to may vanilla cakes. I always thought vanilla cakes were very bland and inoffensive. With this vanilla paste the vanilla is front and center for the flavor of my cake. Love it and so glad I tried it!

If you want to TOTALLY elevate your baking, purchase this vanilla bean paste. It was smelled yummy, tasted yummy made my baked goods taste so much more... expensive. Definitely a well worth it replacement for your normal vanilla extract.
