Present for my husband which he adores! Simple to set up from the box, with clear instructions for further information. The screen is alot brighter than I went thought it would be. Really great quality. Being used as a timer for a tech developer in place for various apps. I don't think anyone would be 😞

Fantastic little pomodoro timer. Love the design, the display orients itself mechanically as you rotate (like a gimbal). Works as you would expect and looks great.

Love this device. I take it back and forth to work. Keeps my feeling of time pressure under control by ensuring I can focus completely on something and know how much time I will “lose” in the process. Battery lasts a good amount of time. Base is unnecessary. I like the different timescale options and how easy it is to start a times session. Small gripe: Pomodoro technique is fiddly to use.

This really is a strange little product - in a good way! The timer itself is genuinely innovative, I’ve never used anything quite like it. It feels overcomplicated at first but once you get used to the interaction style it becomes completely setup‑free and very easy to use. The buttons threw me off though. They look like they should do something… but they don’t! :) My toddler was delighted of course as there are finally some buttons on my desk he’s allowed to press endlessly without consequences. Functionally wise, it’s packed with features and I can see why the price point is higher. The whole concept is different from standard timers and the interaction feels fresh once you get past the initial learning curve. A quirky, clever bit of kit that grows on you!

I understand the function, I really do and for what it does - its phenomenally good. I just cannot wrap my head around justifying the price of this. It is simply a countdown timer with pre-built modes (5 mins, 10 mins, 30 mins and 60 mins). Selecting them is easy as you simply roll the device to the number clearly displayed. You can adjust the timer manually and it also has an alarm function, which I believe can fit 3. What makes this unique is you would not use your timer on your phone effectively (and realistically, most of us have not). So this device is designed to be distraction free. I just simply cannot justify the price tag for it due to the lack of things it can do.

Ich nutze den Ticktime TK3 Pomodoro Timer nun schon eine ganze Weile und bin insgesamt sehr zufrieden – vor allem im Vergleich zum kleineren Cube-Vorgängermodell. Der alte Cube hatte bei mir einen großen Schwachpunkt: Er hat sich viel zu leicht versehentlich verstellt, sobald man ihn angefasst oder in einen anderen Raum mitgenommen hat. Das war im Alltag ehrlich gesagt ziemlich nervig. Dieses Problem hat der TK3 komplett gelöst – hier verstellt sich nichts mehr unbeabsichtigt, was ihn deutlich alltagstauglicher macht. Optisch ist der TK3 ebenfalls ein echter Hingucker. Er steht bei mir neben dem Fernseher in der Docking-Ladestation und macht dort richtig was her. Das Design wirkt hochwertig und modern. Ein weiterer großer Pluspunkt ist die Akkulaufzeit. Der kleine Cube musste bei mir spätestens nach drei Tagen wieder an die USB-Buchse. Der TK3 dagegen hält problemlos eine komplette Arbeitswoche durch – mir ist er bisher noch nie leer gegangen. Ich lade meine TK3-Timer immer am Wochenende, unter der Woche sind sie ständig im Einsatz. Ich benutze mehrere Geräte – einen auf der Arbeit (im Vibrationsmodus 😉) und einen zu Hause. Einziger echter Kritikpunkt ist der hohe Preis. Der ist objektiv gesehen schon happig. Aber gut – andere rauchen, ich nicht. Dann kann man sich eben auch mal einen (zugegeben etwas überteuerten) Pomodoro-Timer gleich zweimal gönnen 😄 Fazit: Ein sehr durchdachter, zuverlässiger und schicker Timer mit klaren Verbesserungen gegenüber dem Vorgänger. Einen Stern Abzug gibt es nur für den Preis – ansonsten ein Top-Produkt für konzentriertes Arbeiten.
