Looks great solid piece.

I use this as a centerpiece for my dining room table with small flower pots of . Endless Violets on each side. It's eye catching and solid It would be out of place in a million dollar home, full of expensive art and bronze... but it fits my rustic sensibilities. I have solid oak furniture, canvas reprints of Picasso and some Dutch Masters. Wooden carved artwork rather than bronze sculptures.

The two parts easily fit together. Although the gold is quite bright, it’s fine when wrapped with lights. Good value. I added lights, a pointe shoe ornament and a couple flowers to make a centerpiece.

These towers were purchased for my Sixth’s Birthday “A Night in Paris “ they came assembled you were required to attach two parts together stacked on top of each other. It was strong and sturdy. The steel was bright and worth the price. I placed battery operated lights inside the tower multi colored lights which gave a realistic look.

Yes, there is some paint in some of the holes. I used an ice pick and a small pocket knife and spent about 15 minutes poking the odd spots from the front. Most bits came completely loose (did this over kitchen counter). When done I worked the inside and VERY carefully removed odd bits (thinking hanging chads) with my fingers or the knife blade. No big deal. If gifting you could do this first. And if you don't want to do this it isn't really necessary. If I had needed to use right away I would have and not worried. Most bits were hardly noticable. Mine is the tall size in black and is very handsome. Can't wait to decorate for the olympics.
