This electric kettle is amazing. It seems well made and works and looks great. Although I like tea, I see myself drinking a lot of hot water which I am told is good for me. I usually don't fill it to the full 1.8 liters, but more like .5 liters which brings me to another point. There are a few measuring marks on the glass that are easy to read. Only filling partly way I think makes it heating quickly. Also the temperature control is awesome as I don't need or drink 212F water all the time and if I want to make 190 or 180F I can, which I think is great. This is very convenient, great value for the money and I highly recommend!!!!

I am a tea drinker and only use loose tea. For years I've heated water in the microwave and used a french press for my tea. But my microwave needed repair and I really didn't like the idea of heating a pan of water (I do it when dry camping). So I looked at kettles and this came up. I love it. I love that it has a screen right in the lid. Filling it is easy from my filter on my fridge. I like that it has different heat setting for different teas. I heats up fast and works great. The auto shut off is also a nice feature. And the "beep" isn't as annoying as my microwave. I only use this now for tea. I don't know how long it will last, but I do clean it once a week, and only use filtered water in it (our city water is horrible). Great buy for little cost.

Heats and boils fast, looks great, love the light indicators, sturdy, very nice infuser, 1.8 L so I can have tea ready for long time. Love it… my new favorite kitchen appliance!

This Electric Kettle is really easy to handle and the colors that define the temperature are also super cute and give it a different vibe. With that being said, it heats up really fast and really good! Just make sure to not fill it up to high as when it starts to boil it will start to leak from the top since the water is jumping and rising. Also, don't put anything in here that isn't water. I had a friend but milk in it once and the stains were hard to take off but eventually worked. The size of this kettle is appropriate and very durable. the safety of this item is understandable for an adult. Just ensure to not have a child touch the glass as it is hot, but the handle is very cool and you don't have to worry about burning yourself, and it is also really good to have the temp buttons on the same handle as you can change it while it's hot and you won't get burned. The on and off button is also very convenient, big enough that you can't miss it and very easy to switch. There are watermarks afterwards but the usage of the kettle is at 100%.

This Chefman 1.2 electric tea kettle is a perfect size. The glass is made of borosilicate glass. This type of glass handles high heat without cracking , higher durability, extends life longevity, retains the heat for a longer period of time and does not transfer taste, allowing you to purely, enjoy what you are eating or drinking . The kettle heats well, evenly, has a pre-lit light that allows you to know when the water is heating. And the kettle size is great for pouring not heavy and bulky like bigger kettles and pours drip free. I own several of the Chefman kettles and have for over 10 years. The quality of glass material and stainless steel craftsman ships is of great quality. Very pleased with these kettles , they have never disappointed me ! Note: They are great during cold &flu season, remove the stainless steel infuser, slice lemons, oranges and ginger add some honey and the kettles makes a great simmer kettle. Enjoy !

Great little electric kettle. I don’t know what kinds of times to expect, but to heat up a half liter (20oz bottle of water) of water to a full rolling boil took about 2 minutes. The documentation is clear, concise, and still thorough. The initial usage is straight forward, boil a full kettle, pour it out, rinse with clean water, and then use. That means there isn’t a lot of dirt/grime/storage/manufacturing “stuff” still in it, which is good. The combination of glass and black with the LED ring is a nice touch, but I wish it was stainless instead of plastic. I’d have paid a bit more for a stainless spout and lid, tbh. That said, I did get this unit on sale, and for ~$29 it’s so far proven quite useful.

I’ve been using the Chefman Electric Kettle for a while now, and honestly, it’s been great. It heats water super fast, which is perfect when I’m rushing in the morning. Literally love this kettle. The only thing is that the steeper isn’t going down deep enough into the machine, which means if I want to brew coffee, I have to brew a whole pot of coffee or else the water won’t reach the coffee grinds in the filter as well as tea if I want to brew tea, I have to brew two or three bags at a time in order for the tea to reach the water. Can’t just make one cup, which is kind of annoying other than that the kettle is great. And beautiful the lights are cute. It works really fast. The water boils extremely quickly. I find the ability to hide this cord in a circle underneath the plate is also a nice feature. It says on my counter and stops me from having to worry about getting knocked over people have said that the kettle is wobbly while it’s on the plate, but that’s only because the plate is light and when there’s no water in the kettle, it isn’t really wobbly. It’s just not securely flat because of the cord being on the bottom, it would be impossible for it to be flat but when there’s water in the kettle, there’s nothing it’s not wobbly at all. If you’re worried about a wobbly kettle, don’t leave water on the pot after a boil take it off and put it on the counter. It could be warm the glasses warm the handle is not warm so when you have boiled water and you wanna take it off the plate so it’s not wobbly just put it on top of a pot holder. Delivery came fast by the way. As well, you might wanna consider buying the one that’s like new condition they state that you might not get a box or packaging, but I got everything that everybody else gets. I checked online the box the wrapping, and the it was not sealed yet it looked new. Perfect condition and I got money off for because it was opened already.

We bought this kettle mainly because it displays the temperature in Celsius. We really like the color-changing LED lights - they switch colors depending on the water temperature, which looks very nice and is also useful. The heating speed is not the fastest; we had models in the past that boiled water quicker. But for us it’s not a big issue - we never rush our tea time, so we always have a moment to wait. We drink tap water without additional filters, so limescale does build up inside the kettle, and because the body is transparent, it’s unfortunately very visible. When the buildup gets too heavy, we simply replace the kettle with a new one - that’s what works best for us. But it’s something to keep in mind. Overall, we’re happy with this kettle!
