I dropped my Owala and cracked its original lid. The Owala store online was reasonably priced, but the shipping cost more than the lid! This one fits my bottle perfectly, hasn’t leaks as and offered fun colors. I have had it for over a month without any problems.

Terrible quality the replacement cap broke within two weeks of using it. The push button in the front snapped off and couldn’t put back.

The finger ring for my daughter’s Owala was damaged during soccer game shenanigans. I didn’t even realize they had replacement lids until she told me. Fits perfectly and functions just like the original - plus it’s much cheaper than buying a new one. She’s pretty rough with her stuff, but no leaking and it has a good seal. It’s nice to know you can change the look for a fraction of the cost for my older child who is much more concerned with aesthetics.

Lid was broken so couldn’t carry the container with the handle. This replacement was perfect and now it is good as new. Wasn’t cheap but better than buying a new one.

Yea so don’t be fooled, this isn’t on official Owala cap. They just mention it 3 times in the listing to truck you. It fits fine, but the buttons stick, the lock is loose, the color doesn’t match, and it smells like a type of plastic that isn’t safe to drink fun. You know what else? This is actually MORE expensive than just buying an official cap from Owala! Don’t waste your money and don’t be like me. Read these listings carefully!

UPDATE: The handle broke, which caused the whole lid closure not to work. There's now no way to cover the spout. Of course this happened 2 days after the return window. It appears to be a cheaply made piece. Not sure I'll try this one again. INITIALLY: Fits as expected. Colors as shown. We were able to find a color combination similar to the original, though not an exact match. My daughter has been using the replacement for 2 weeks and so far it works well! No leaks.
