These are not only functional but also very attractive for door mats. Definitely a cut above the rest. I purchased two of the large rugs in the gorgeous deep blue color and could be happier. The vacuum and wash well. I am sticking with these.

I bought this mat for my newly installed deck. It is right outside of my sliding glass door. The mat itself is great looking , seems to be high quality, and stays place when you walk in it. My problem with it is that since mine is exposed to the weather it soaks up rain like a sponge. Plus it retains all of the rain water it absorbs. We had a lot of rain yesterday and when I went out on the deck this afternoon, it was like stepping on a sponge. I picked it up and probably dumped a good 8 oz. of water from it. If you are going to use it on a covered area, I would say go for it. But if it would be completely exposed to the elements, you might look elsewhere. Too bad it doesn’t have some drain holes in the bottom of it. I might try to drill some small holes to see if that helps. Too bad because I really liked the looks of the rug.
