Could I get away with wearing in day?

I wouldn’t wear during the day. They are much heavier than say, the retainers used to straighten teeth. Unless you are wearing for a particular reason

What’s the best thing to clean this with? Instructions say antibacterial soap, but I don’t fancy putting it in my mouth after that! Denture cleaner??

The use of an antibacterial soap should'nt be a problem provided you inse off thouroughly, however, if in doubt, use a denture cleaner as it would be totally safe for oral use.

how long can you use a guard for before you need to replace it?

Sorry but I don't know. They seem quite robust so I suppose I'll replace the one I'm using when I've bitten through it and it becomes ineffective.

Do I have to put it in boiling water to mound once or is it each time I use it?

Just when first moulding it. Be careful not to leave it in too long.
