Introduce the resilience and nutritional benefits of Goji Berry (Lycium barbarum), also known as Wolfberry, to your garden with this (4 Pack) of live starter plants ready for planting. Renowned for their adaptability, these shrubs are cold-hardy, tolerating temperatures down to -10°F (-23°C), making them suitable for USDA Hardiness Zones 5-9. Once established, they exhibit drought tolerance, thriving in full sun to part shade and well-drained soil. Growing to a height of 5 to 6 feet, these self-fertile shrubs produce light purple, bell-shaped flowers that give way to bright red berries. The berries are celebrated for their high antioxidant content, surpassing many fruits, and are rich in essential amino acids, vitamins, and minerals. Their flavor is a delightful blend reminiscent of strawberry, raspberry, and cranberry, making them versatile for fresh consumption, drying, or incorporation into various dishes. This seller certainly knows how to package and transport plants for shipping. Plants arrived, healthy, and beautiful as promised. What a fantastic experience purchasing plants via Amazon. I never expected plants to make it as well as these did. I will certainly purchase again from this supplier.

First off let me say this is the first time ordering plants on-line. My expectations were fairly low. Also, I live in Alaska so wasn't sure how well they would travel. Pleasantly surprised that all four made it here in stable condition; no broken stems and leaves were small but green although a little wilted...to be expected. Once watered, they perked up and look fine. So, everything was better than expected EXCEPT for the bugs. Now, I don't know if it is normal to receive critters as well as plants but didn't like the newcomers in my house. Packing could use an upgrade and could explain why some reviewers received broken-stemmed plants as there was only brown kraft paper wrapped around the plants. Also, the tiny starter pots simply cannot hold the moisture for extended periods, perhaps plastic baggies around the roots would work better? Just a thought. We'll see how well they last. I have repotted them in slightly larger planters (4 inch) and placed in a plastic bag to contain any new arrivals of the insectoid species. I would put them outside except we are still dipping into the 30's degree F range at night and I think that would be too cold for these little babies. Excluding the roots, the plants are about 4 inches tall and came in little plastic starter cups with the roots wrapped around the soil in the bottom. I do hope they make it, I've been wanting Gojo berry bushes for quite some time...one of the few berries that are classified for zone 3, the coldest climate for hardiness. Wish me luck fellow shoppers!
