An excellent game for the family, easy to learn and play and the box is compact which is good for storage space.

This is a great family game! I was searching for a card game that was small and compact yet contained all the fun, engaging elements a classic party activity should have. I came across Exploding Kittens on Amazon and I have to say, I didn’t hear about the hype but I understand it now. This game is for mixed ages and doesn’t draw away from the classic competitive, strategic entity yet delivers a round of laughs and jokes. The game really gets you thinking in order to plan your moves ahead, and is full of laughter and surprises. The visuals of the game are stunning. The party pack came in a beautiful box (which I don’t want to explain to much as it will spoil the amazing contents) and was delivered with care. The animations and graphics on the game cards really stand out from there opponents, as I haven’t see anything like this. The game is tricky to understand at first. Undertaking not only the rules and what cards to use but how each card works and playing methodically. Exploding Kittens definitely emphasises the 'more the merrier’ prophecy. It takes a roughly two rounds to get a grasp of how the game works, but do watch the YouTube videos by Matthew Inman (I believe) who describes it all effortlessly. Definitely try this out but do avoid getting exploded!

Great value, arrived very quickly

I bought this on offer for our after xmas dinner game. Whereas its fun I am glad I didn't pay the full price! Only negative I have is the kitty speaker has never worked and just makes a static sounds when you open the box. Couldn't return as didn't open until Xmas and needed it that day, so opened and used the card packs. The game itself is a quick to play time killer which once the family understood they will be victimised and targeted for explosion, a lot of fun. So even when you are out the game it is only a short wait until the next round (avoiding a repeat of Monopoly '21). Fun drawings and thoughtful artwork. If the expansion packs go on offer I may be tempted.

So fun to play. Highly recommend party edition as it allows more people if required and game could be extended by using more cards than instruction suggests.

Love this game and this pack is a treat. If you have not played Expolding Kittens yet and are looking for a great game for Family at home or friends at a pub. This is the one! Great gameplay, balanced and tense, especially when the number of cards in the deck starts to dwindle and one of those Kittens is definitely coming up! As you play there are a number of tactics and tricks you will learn. Add this to the random drawing of cards and it creates a great atmosphere. It never feels unfair when you lose and is still fun to watch while you wait for the others to blow up! The rounds do not last long so you can get through several games in an hour (depending on the number of people). The art work for the cards is great and funny. He cards are also of excellent quality in relation to thickness, texture and colour. Buy it!

If you are a big fan of the original Exploding kittens game and if you wanted to play this game with more than 5 players (the original game caps the maximum amount of players to 5) then get this game! It comes in the same shaped box as the original game but with a famous Mexican themed party music every time you opened the box. The logic of the party pack is that it has a larger number of cards (for a larger party) but also comes with cards with slightly different actions than the normal game. For instance, the 'attack' card now stacks up and there are newer cards like 'alter the future' and 'draw from the bottom' which can put an interesting twist on the gameplay with larger number of people. Should you buy it? It Depends. Do you want to share and play this game with 5 players and more? If so, I'd definitely recommend this game as it has more cards than the original. If you're starting out to learn this game and get a few other players to play it on a regular basis then the original edition would suffice.

Such a fun game to play with the kids and very easy for them to understand.

Bought these on sale, they arrived on time in a neat package (does come plastic wrapped on the box and cards, I opened it for the photos). Beautiful playing cards with a high quality feel, art is a fantastic . I was pleasantly surprised with the music which plays when you open the box! Can’t fault this product at all, it’s perfect and has more variety than your standard 56 card deck. 5/5! Highly recommend for family and party games, also birthday events and holidays :)
