Though substantial, I was disappointed that there weren't more over-the-top colors and patterns. Felt more subdued than I had hoped it would be.

The authors are specialists in textiles and have produced a book that covers every region of the sub-continent. The book is beautifully illustrated with photographs of examples of the textiles of each region making this an excellent reference book.
