So far, so good.
Our 7-month old cat was getting to where he wanted to climb curtains and scratch on everything. We were prepared to have him declawed, even though we really did not want to. On a hunch my son said we should try these. Here's what we've found: 1. You need to also get a clippers and clip the tip of the nail off. Our cat was definitely not thrilled about this, but we got through it. Plan on having help. 2. The nail covers are easy to apply. We got the size small and our cat weighs about 8 lb at this time. The covers fit just fine over his nails. Again, it will probably be a 2 person job, but it went quickly. 3. We filled the hollow nail caps about 1/3 full. They slipped on easily and the glue hardens fast. 4. The cat did try to pull them off, but was unsuccessful. We also distracted him during his first evening wearing them. 5. None have fallen off yet, and we're on the third day. He now pays no attention to them at all. He can retract and extend his nails just like before, but they don't damage things now. Also, we only did the front feet. I don't think the back feet need to be done. Here's the important thing:. The undesirable behaviors stopped immediately. I don't know if the cat can sense that it doesn't have the ability to grasp things with its front claws anymore, but for whatever the reason, he has not attempted to scratch furniture or pull the curtains down since we put these on. We know we will have to repeat this as his nails regrow and the caps fall off. Nonetheless, it's a small financial and time sacrifice, and we won't have to declaw him now. Also, the bright colors of the caps make it easy to check if he still has them over all his claws. We were skeptical, but so far these are working great. EDIT - We are finding we need to do about 2-3 caps per week, on average. Some of this is probably due to nail growth and some to them coming off. Our cat is much less interested in trying to take them off as time goes by, so the Cat Acceptance Factor is improving. All in all, we figure we spend about 3-5 minutes per week maintaining these claws on him. We will gladly do this vs. having him de-clawed.

Best purchase!!!!!
I will be the first to admit I was VERY skeptical about tips for claws on cats. I’ve always heard of them but I thought there was no way they would stay on, be comfortable, and work. I was WRONG!!!!! Not only are they super practical but SOOOO cute!!! Our cat doesn’t claw furniture, but her nails grow SO fast even though we keep them trimmed every two weeks. So when she is playing it hurts sometimes. I came across these and really just bought them on a whim, literally thinking they would last five minutes. Wrong again!! All ten stayed on about 3 weeks, we had to clip the tips of them because they were getting so long. After five weeks she still has two on. I’m waiting for the other two to fall off so I can put another set on. So they are VERY durable!!!! And they are actually very easy to put on, you’ll need someone to hold the cat while the other puts the caps on. I have told everyone about these, they are WONDERFUL and did I mention, SOOOOO ADORABLE!!!! I mean, look at the pics!! lol, isn’t she the cutest?! Now she really looks like the princess she is, lol. Also, right after I put them on and we let her down, she tried pulling them off with her teeth for maybe 20 seconds, none came off and then she was totally fine with them. We thought she was going to be the drama queen she is and refuse to walk or something. But nope, it’s if she thinks there isn’t anything there.

Great, only one complaint
These work great but My only issue is the glue tubes are one time use! That means I can only do 10 caps (20 if I do both cats, if I'm lucky) and that's it. Awesome, boy what if I need to fix a lost cap or two? I have one cat that is a vigorous groomer and tends to pop caps off early. That means I either wait for all of his caps to come off which could be a long time, and I am damage furniture in the house, which is the reason for the caps. Or, I have to open a new container of glue to replace 2 to 4 caps, and then the rest of the tube is wasted. It seems like a design flaw to me. Why not sell this product with a larger bottle of glue there’s a small tip on it it fits into the tips of the caps. You know, kind of like superglue sells it? Or even these Little bottles with just the pointy tips rather than having to screw these pointy tips on and then wasting an entire little bottle. If you can’t tell there’s some thing and rather annoyed about as I’ve wasted several small bottles and have lots of tips left. other than that they work beautifully they stay on well and they keep my cats from scratching up the couch the carpets and the walls, which is the whole purpose for us getting them in the first place.

Is what it is
My cats outsmarted this. They would spend hours chewing them off (choking hazard) or rip the tip off to still use their nails.

Buy Them… Even if you’re a beginner. So am I!!
Very good product. We have a brand new 8 month old male kitten, that weighs about 7 lbs. I’ve never done this before, so I waited until he was soundly sleeping and glued these on. Side note: I didn’t use the glue that came in the package. I just so happened to have ordered this one: VICTHY 10pcs Special Pet Nail Adhesive Glues & 15pcs Applicator Tips for Dog or Cat Nail Caps on Amazon. It paired fantastically with these nail caps. Just pay close attention to the fact that the colors are selected randomly, so you could end up with five random colors you don’t prefer. But, the quality of the product is well made. I did snip off the top edge by just a snip to ensure it would fit his tiny paws. We got a size small. He hasn’t noticed at all. Happy nail capping!🎉🎉

After my inherited cat received a nasty swipe across the nose from my existing cat, I decided they needed these. Not only has it spared his little nose, it has saved our carpet from both cats. Great product!

These colorful cat claw caps have been a lifesaver for my furniture! My sweet girl, while absolutely adorable, has a bit of a scratching habit, and I was constantly worried about my sofa and other precious belongings. These little caps have solved that problem beautifully. First, let's talk about the colors. They're so fun! My feline princess now sports a rainbow manicure, and it's quite entertaining. There's a good variety of colors in the pack, so you can mix and match or choose colors that complement your cat's gorgeous fur. The application was surprisingly easy. The instructions were clear, and with a little patience and some tempting treats, I was able to get all the caps on without too much fuss. The key is to trim her nails first, then apply a small amount of the provided glue to the inside of the cap and gently place it on the nail. It took a few tries to get the hang of it, but now I can do it pretty quickly. The glue seems to hold well, and the caps stay on for a reasonable amount of time, usually a few weeks, depending on how quickly her nails grow. Most importantly, they work! My girl still tries to scratch, but the caps prevent any real damage. I've noticed a significant decrease in scratching behavior overall, probably because she's not getting the same satisfaction from it. She doesn't seem to mind them too much, either. She might try to groom them off occasionally, but they're durable and haven't broken or caused any issues. One thing to keep in mind is that you'll need to replace the caps as your cat's nails grow out. It's also important to follow the instructions carefully and avoid getting glue on your cat's skin. But overall, these cat claw caps have been a fantastic solution for protecting my furniture and keeping my kitty's claws harmless. If you're struggling with cat scratching, I definitely recommend giving these a try. They're affordable, easy to use, and they actually work!

the medium was so much bigger than the small ones as if its extra large.

I have bought claw caps from another seller before. I got these as I thought I'd just test the market. The caps are very soft and rubbery, which was fine at first. After putting the on my cat, he was able to easily bite the tops of them off, which was not the case for my other purchase. If they're half off and I cant remove the rest because of the glue- I can't even replace them with new ones. I had also explain the situation and asked for a refund, there was no response. Terrible product, don't buy from them. I'll consider editing this review if I hear back from the seller.
