365 by Whole Foods Market, Organic Black Tea, Single-Serve Tea Bags, 70 Count

I use this tea to make jun kombucha, which is brewed with green tea and honey (vs black tea and cane sugar, as is used in traditional kombucha). The flavor of the tea is very light and floral. It is the perfect combination with the honey to produce a crisp, light, refreshing kombucha. My SCOBY loves it and seems to grow better and with less yeast overgrowth than with other brands I tried. Overall, this box is a great value, and I will keep buying it.

Very good green tea. The best I have found so far. Mild taste.

More flavorful than I thought they would be. I just stick them in the single-serve holder in my Cuisinart and press the 10 oz. button. After brewing the hot water through the bag, I still toss the bag in the mug for a couple more minutes to get a little more flavor out of it. I then compost the bag; nice that they do not have staples :-)

This tea is delicious and an excellent value. It is a bit weak, hence the star deducted, but I like my tea and coffee really strong.

Perfect. It’s not packaged in unbleached tea bags but the tea itself is smooth and the plus is that it’s organic. The aroma is typical and the color is normal.

This tea is very delightful, it has a good price and the caffeine lasts me throughout my workouts. Overall an amazing tea.

Good Stuff

Delivered in Amazon bag so the 2 boxes of tea were obviously smashed. The black tea itself is average in taste, not much aroma, and not as bold a flavor as I prefer. I can get maybe two cups from one tea bag before the flavor, color, and taste are gone. Also, these tea bags are just bags, no strings attached.

These are black teabags (like Red Rose or Tetley) but a much better for you and the environment because it is an organic brand. There are 70 tea bags in the box, so it is a very good value for the money. The bags are wrapped inside (I think in 7 sections, 10 bags each (?) didn't count exact amount...but the good feature of this is it keeps the remaining bags fresh after you open the box. The downside of this- it makes for a lot of packaging. ( one could just open a box and transfer everything into an air tight container) But the feature of separate packaging did prove handy when I want to take some teabags to work/travel. I do not find this black tea to have a super strong flavour. I have been putting 2 bags in a big mug for 5 minutes and it does not become bitter. If you like a mild black tea taste, one bag will do.

I bought this tea to brew kombucha. It works amazing for that! I have also resorted to drinking it when I run out of green tea. I drink my tea black (No milk or sugar) and am not normally a fan of black tea. I see reviews saying this tea might not be full bodied, maybe that's why I enjoy it so much? I find it tastes fresher to me than most of the black teas I've tried. I bought an organic black tea from the grocery store previous to this to try with kombucha and it had a very chemically taste... This tastes natural and bitter to me. I love it :)

I'm used to drinking Red Rose so to me this tea is delicate. This tea does have some bitterness and for some reason I thought I tasted a hint of Bergamot (Artificial or Not). Organic certification is a positive. Easy on the stomach because it's smooth and mild. Red Rose is better with food though.

I’ve used this for years for kombucha. It’s not as strong as other teas, but it’s not bitter. I just wish there was no plastic packaging inside and I wish I knew what the bag was made of. I’ve not found a better replacement as of yet

I bought this organic black tea for doing Kombucha and I found it very good. I am happy with the product. Even if I do not drink it (because I drink green tea) I always use black tea for Kombucha because I found that it gives a really good taste to the final product. And this tea is wonderfull for that. Thank you for the price also. Very competitive for an organic tea.
