For an instant soup base it's good quality and acceptable. I prefer real stock but throwing a little bit of this into real stock enhances the flavor. I haven't used it as pure stock for ramen or anything else. I don't think you're going to get top quality flavor or nutrition from it if it's the only broth but it's a great way to augment an existing broth for more flavor. Probably acceptable all by itself if you're not fussy but I like using it for stews with real ingredients.

I use this because I steam a lot of my food and it add some flavor.

I have used Knorr products all my live. At this time, my doctor said I needed to cut out as much salt as possible in my meals. Therefore, when I saw the Low Sodium Roasted Chicken Base, I decided to purchase the item. I paid almost 50 dollars for 6 containers and now I am told that I can't get credit for another item, or return my items. 50 dollars now days is a lot to lose. I don't know what I am going to do with it. It smells rancid and has too much grease. I gave it a try and mixed it with warm water. The soup tasted terrible.This is the first time that I have been very dissatisfied with a product I got through the Amazon site. I give this product a "NO S T A R" rating. I have added the pictures of the product. All the grease is very visible. With all the positive reviews, I feel that the batch I got is not good!RO

This is a professional grade base. Knorr makes a bunch of flavours including beef, vegetable and seafood. They mix really well whether you do it in a measuring bowl with hot water or directly into whatever you're making. Don't listen to me but I've never stored it in the fridge and have had NO issues in 5 years. You can sometimes find it by the single pound container but the price gets ridiculous. OH its very tasty too. Way better that those little refrigerated jars or salt bomb cubes. You won't go wrong with these

I'm on a doctor-ordered HIGH salt diet so when I think something is too salty, trust me, it is!I came across this product and immediately bought a 6 pack.I love broth but got tired of the salt in them. This soup base has ONLY 135 mg of salt per serviing, MUCH less than the 660 AND MORE in other products! I can make it as I want and not have to find things to add to it to cover the salt!The taste is delicious!If you're looking for a low salt alternative, definitely buy this! The fact that it's got nothing artifical or preservatives is a major bonus to the delicious taste!!
