I spent some time doing research on both modems and routers, including speaking with several IT professionals. I ended up landing on this Nighthawk after many recommendations. This router was a breeze to set up and paired perfectly with my new Motorola B12 cable modem. The step by step instructions in the app made it very easy; the performance and user-friendly experience is really nice. You can easily view all devices connected to the network, configure a separate guest network, run a Speedtest directly from the modem, and more. 2.4 and 5 GHz are automatically configured based on the devices connected. I used the same SSID / Login/ network name from my previous WiFi router and all devices connected seamlessly to the new Nighthawk. I am very pleased with the purchase!

I did not want to pay the monthly fee for a router so I did some research on the best preforming routers. The NETGEAR Nighthawk Wi-Fi 7 RS140 router was the one I chose. I am so pleased with its performance and area it covers. It’s very easy to setup and performance is great. I would highly recommend this product.

All of my Netgear routers lasted a long time and always last a long time. I've had them last about as long as 10 years. This is the only router I'll ever own. Have never had a problem with Netgear. This one is no different. High quality easy to set up, fast, and good range. This one has a 2250sq/ft range. But I didn't notice that this one is a dual band router even being a WiFi 7. Most WiFi 7 routers are tri band, 2.4GHz, 5GHz, and 6Ghz bands. Make sure the specs are what you're looking for. I kept this one. Highly recommended.

I got tired of paying WI-FI router fees, so did some research on best preforming routers and the NETGEAR Nighthawk Wi-Fi 7 router was the one I chose. I am so pleased with the chose I made. It’s very easy to setup and performance is optimual, even customer support and technical support was great. I would highly recommend this product.

Using the Netgear app the setup took maybe 20 minutes. But, I wanted to change the network name and password to the same as the old router. I couldn't fins a way to do it with the app. There could be w way, I just couldn't find it. So I started again and used my desktop. I was able to set my own admin password and change the wifi network name and password. Otherwise pretty easy.

I replaced the Ziply supplied router and what a difference. My tv now has great signal in my shop. I did have some issues with some older 2.4 Ghz equipment getting it connected. Great speeds. This solved my problems.

Bought this router to replace an older version of the Nighthawk that was acting up. I just really can't believe that Netgear has somehow managed to completely destroy what was once a decent company and router product. I used to work for Bay Networks/Nortel when we launched Netgear to compete with Cisco Linksys and it was rock solid gear. Not any more. This router, when it works is fast, but WHEN is the key word. The mobile app doesn't work, manual set up is quirky with the lame, stale 10 year old web interface and just wait until the router does a firmware update. It basically forces you to do it in order to proceed with web access and if it works and again IF is the key word, it's anyone's guess as to whether the router will perform consistently after the upgrade. In my case, all was good for about 8 hours then the router locked up and took my cable modem down too. I'll be replacing this pathetic piece of junk and returning it. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME even trying something made by Netgear.

Works very well. The signal strength is much better than my old router. A decent buy.
