Almost double price on Amazon this is day light robbery. Product is ok but no way to understand how much left in the container so 1 might ran out midway during the application process & no way to know it... it's a common sense to apply a indicative marker on the side..

OVER PRICED! The product is great for dying my beard. Henna was a mess and took too long and Just for Men aggregated my facial skin. This product works in about 30 minutes and doesn’t aggravate my skin. In regards to price, Simpler Hair packages the product in a fancy sack, provides a product brush, 2 small packs of stain guard and a packet of rubber gloves. I’ve used the product for 2 years and neither the stain guard or rubber gloves are needed as the product goes on without a mess and stains never happen. All the extras in the box with the dye are Simpler Hair’s way of jacking up the price. Even if you needed them for the first time around you certainly don’t need them after the first purchase. There are much better bristle brushes than the cheap plastic brush provided. I wrote Simpler Hair and suggested they have an option to just buy the dye by itself but of course they didn’t listen as that would reduce profits. This product at $40+ is 3 stars at best, at $30 is 4 stars and in the $20 range would be 5 stars. Also the product doesn’t come close to lasting as long as suggested. If you have a full face beard and want full face product coverage you’ll get about 4 uses and need to redye about once a week. That’s $40+ a month for product. IMHO way over priced. I’m hoping a competitor pops up with a better price.

No mixing and pretty straightforward with no heavy chemicals and doesn’t dye your skin. Some reasons for the imperfect rating… The comb is not ideal, particularly for very short hair (2-5mm) with beard and head. The first 2 applications, I was getting mostly the white cream coming out, but third application the color and cream was coming out evenly. Another thing I noticed, it is “permanent” but faded slightly in my case. All that being said, I would buy again and 100% recommend this to anyone in spite of my 4 out of 5 stars.

Typically works very well. No irritation on the skin, no major staining either. With safer dyes means longer wait time, so it’s a trade off. Can’t tell the hair is dyed compared to JFM brand. Color can fade over time, like it’s slowly washing out but not a bid deal considering the alternatives. There is always more in the bottle than you’d expect giving you several sessions out of one can. However, my last bottle came in with NONE of the brown color in the bottle. I squeezed out half the can and only the white base was there. Noticed the can weight was very light, like they forgot to add the other half of the color mix. No, the other color tube wasn’t clogged either. Expensive mistake on their QA part I have to live with. Now I have to pay for another bottle and toss out this one.

I like the product and I've used it for a few years now but I think the formula has changed. I think most men don't keep it in their hair long enough and they may complain that they are still seeing Gray. For me I like a little bit of gray because if it's too black it looks unnatural. Though I do leave it in for about 20 minutes as they recommend and it seemed to wash out more than the last order I purchased. I usually apply it evenly on the brush and then I will use my own neoprene gloves after combing and rubbing it in. I want to make sure I get full coverage. Wait about 20 minutes and then take a shower. It used to be about 10 to 20% would come out and I would have a little bit of Gray. But now I'm thinking more like 30 to 40% is leaving my head. Other than that when he used to work it lasted for about a month. The last formula and this one has never caused any problems to my scalp.

I was very skeptical when I ordered this product (medium brown). It couldn’t be any easier to use, the coverage is really good. I’m very happy with the results. I may try dark brown next time just to see how it looks. Now to see how long it lasts.
