Completely Satisfied
I added this to a 10” extender and went through two rows of brick and then cinder block. I had to slightly bore the extender to fit, and wrapped it with Gorilla tape so the set screws wouldn’t vibrate out. The bit was very balanced and stable and it worked with my Ryobi half inch chuck hammer drill on level 1 speed. I took my time and used a water sprayer to cool at intervals, with chisels to remove pieces as it went through. Completely satisfied with the quality and price. The 1 and a 1/4 inch pvc sheath fit perfectly for installation of 3/4 black iron (coated with Eastwood’s sealer). All set for running the tri fuel generator.

Well made product for a great price.
Used it to drill a 3” hole through Cinder block and Brick. It was little hard going through the brick but did the job fine. Seems to be very well made and looks like a quality product. For $20, great value.

Cuts like butter!
Cut through a 14” clay brick wall like butter. Chewed up the concrete like a goat. Would highly recommend this to anyone.

Does the job.
Used it to core a hole through a brick wall to install a 4 inch heat vent. Worked fine for one hole, but I think it would work better in an area where you could keep some water on it.

Very hefty, solid tool. Good value!
Solid piece of equipment. This thing is sturdy. I was surprised when I removed it from the packaging. Plenty long enough to bore through an 8 inch wall. I would consider starting the hole with an abrasive bit first then finish the bore with this tool.

Great masonry bit!
I had to mount a waterproof electrical box on the exterior of a cement block horse barn. This masonry bit had no problem drilling a hole in the cement block. After drilling the hole in the cement block, I used a wood bit to drill a 7/8" hole in the 2" x 8" cap on top of the interior wall and fished the 12/3 wire down the hole, then went outside and pulled the wire through the hole in the cement block. Everything went as planned. I was very pleased with this high quality masonry bit. It worked just fine with a standard 1/2" Milwaukee drill with a side handle. A hammer drill would have probably been a little quicker, but I wasn't going to rush out and buy a hammer drill for such a small job.

Drill shaft is not straight/balanced.
Does it work? Yes, you'll get an approximately 3.5" hole plus 1/8 to 3/16 variance from head wobble due to the shaft not being straight. Fit is poor. It does seem very heavy and durable. Includes 2 pilot drill bits, two bolts for the drill bit, and a wrench for them. If all you need is about a 3.5" hole, this is a good value. It cut the hole, but its not precise. I found a better "red company" hole saw from the "orange DIY" store, that was precise and wasted less. It was more expensive though.
