Great cable compatible with AB processors!
Fantastic little cable! Connects to my Micrologix 1100 and 1400 channel 0 withouta single issue. RSLinx found the correct baud during the auto connect process and programs were uploaded and downloaded without a hitch! A must have for anyone servicing AB equipment!

Internal short within cable or connector
This cable was designed to replace the Allen-Bradley 1761-CBL-PM02, for communicating between a PC a AB MicroLogix 1000 or 1200 processor. I purchased it because the price was so low compared to OEM cable... As received, the cable did NOT work. I checked the pinout, and the male 8-pin mini circular DIN connector appears to have pins 7 and 8 internally shorted within the cable or connector. This effectively grounded the TXD line at the processor. So much for Chinese quality control prior to shipment.

Using this cable to connect an Allen-Bradley Micrologix 1200 to 1761-NET-AIC+. Works as I expected it to. No problems installing or using.
