Works better than I thought it would for the price. I keep it plugged in to my desktop, and when I want to search by voice I just click the microphone icon and speak. This microphone picks up my voice accurately, and I don't even have to get close to it. It is very sensitive. It is flexible and easy to position. I like it.

Ever since the stay-at-home days started, I've been using my Logitech G533 gaming headset for all my computer audio needs. It has a great mic (and sounds fantastic, BTW), but after months of near daily use I got tired of wearing a big headset for every call. I purchased this mic due to the reasonable price and the many rave reviews, and I am not disappointed! As a technical communicator, I need something with quality sound for recording as well as calls. I tested recording on this mic in OBS Studio and I'm quite pleased with how good my voice sounded. People on calls have told me that I come through loud and clear as well. It picks me up clearly from up to 2 feet away, and since it's omnidirectional it will pick up both me and another source of sound in the room, which is important for Zoom karaoke! As long as it's not right next to my laptop's speakers, it will not pick up stray audio. My jet-engine-loud air conditioner does sometimes come through if I'm set up in the living room, right next to the intake vent. The hardware itself feels sturdy, including the highly-flexible metal neck, and the base (with a 4x5" footprint) has a good weight to it. The mechanical ON/OFF switch, which has a solid in-and-out click, gives me peace of mind when I want to be sure I'm muted on a call. The ON light is fairly bright, so I covered it in a LightDims original strength sticker and it no longer bugs me (see picture). The cord length is just about perfect, since I'm on a laptop and didn't want to deal with a massive loop of cable cluttering up my desk, but it seems long enough to reach the back of any desktop case without any issues. Overall, this is an easy-to-use and high-quality microphone that has everything I need and nothing I don't. It's one of the most satisfying purchases I've made all year, and I highly recommend it if you need a good inexpensive mic.

I stream and record video games as a hobby and I've been looking for a standalone microphone so that I can still talk to my in-game friends while my other microphone captures my narration. I plug my headphone-mic into my streaming-computer and talk through there for the stream and use the usb microphone through my PS4 to talk to my friends. I asked them how the usb microphone quality sounds coming through to them and they said that it is very clear and my friends can understand me well. I also enjoy the power button on the microphone because when someone inevitably comes into my room to be loud, I can mute the mic and spare my friends' ears! All-in-all, this is a very versatile mic that is simple, provides good quality, and can get the job done when it comes to communicating or recording on pc or console.

Really easy to hook up. Excellent sound quality. I can now move my laptop off my desk and still be heard on Zoom meetings. I am recording some videos for work and this microphone works perfect. I highly recommend it. Super affordable and absolutely one of the easiest connections I have ever encountered.

This microphone works exactly as expected. It replaces the computers' built in mic. and allows two users to be easily heard when communicating with others. If there are problems, just understand and follow the provided directions. Following directions will eliminate feedback, unresponsive mute button, etc. I experienced all these problems with an older operating system until I followed the directions...

Its sound quality is much better than that of my expensive Reza headphones. Moreover, it has only one button and is extremely easy to use! If you don't want to use anything too fancy, then it is definitely a great microphone!

This is a really basic microphone. Noise cancellation is fair. They state in their description, "... embeds a patented audio filter in order to record only your voice." That simple isn't true. Having said that, voice quality is pretty good and it worked well for recording background narration on my YouTube videos. The one I have now is starting to die after 4 years and about 50 videos, but its price made it a reasonable purchase. In fact, I am buying another one since I know how it performs.

Good directional "plug-and-play" mic that doesn't pick up much background noise. Sensitivity is surprisingly well and is quite stable just resting on the table without teetering. As far as size goes it is a bit awkward to find a space to put it with the breadth of the base but the sensitivity allows for the microphone to be placed farther away without loss of audio. There is no volume-control aside from the mute button so you'll have to adjust the settings using your operating system. Overall, great mic for the price.
