Love sewing with this thread, I have it in many colors and always get good results. I was surprised when I opened the package that this is a box of 6--from the description I only expected to receive one spool. 660 yards at this price is a pretty good deal!

The photo on the Amazon site and the seller's description is for a length of black thread. I noted when the item arrived it's a length of black thread. I shall write an emendation should I think of something else to say.

Gutermann thread is excellent quality. Very durable, and easy to thread compared to some other threads I’ve used.

I learned how to sew on a button last week by watching a YouTube video. BUT regardless of my lack of prior experience in sewing or love for picking up a needle, I just had to buy THE BEST thread out there to sew on that button back on my beloved work pants. After spending quite some time researching different types of threads and their qualities (omg there were so many options), I settled for this one. It worked beautifully. Considering how clumsy I am holding a needle, I am absolutely positive a person with more experience would appreciate this thread even more than I do. Hope this was helpful! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
