About a decade ago I once said that someone needs to make a bag of burnt pretzels and someone finally did. I am thankful because these taste amazing and I am hooked. They are a bit salty but you can wipe the excess salt off. If you like the taste of burnt pretzels then this is for you!

A year ago, these were the perfect pretzel: not too hard, a dark color that seemed to come from being cooked longer or hotter. But the last batch seemed to have more of a superficial char and more of a prominent charred flavor. This charring gets on your hands now, it never did that before. I still like them, but now I prefer the regular and the sourdough versions more.

I thought these were the best pretzels I ever had and ordered over a dozen bags, but this order of SIX bagsarrived and they are not the delicious darker roasted I loved, but rather just a burnt product that I guess they left the oven on too long and won't just throw them away and give you a decent product. Geez, you can't even count on a pretzel maker any more. It's always sad when you find such a great product and then youget garbage. No way to contact seller. Do not want to pay $$$ to eat anything burnt!!! Someone left the oven on and is covering up??? Please replace with a decent product as I love these pretzels when they are not burnt.
