Black Diamond Bullet 16 Backpack

Feature packed versatile bag for city knockaround. I bought my son his first Bullet when he was ten. That version had daisy chains sewn to the outside and was a bit heavier than now. The bag has been cleaned up on the outside and more dividers on the inside since his first, which lasted 15 years of daily use by the way. He used it about half the time for Middle School and High School - it doesn't hold more than about 3-4 of the huge text books. He used an LL Bean heavy duty most high school days and this on weekends. Hopefully things have gotten lighter since his days. Then he used it full time in college (comp sci major) for four years and then for two years living in NYC and Brooklyn. His black color looked good as new. When he asked for a new bag for a Christmas present I looked around and this thing popped up on a search. Why not, I thought? And he agreed when he got it. Can't beat this bag. It's very compact yet always seems to hold just the right amount. It fits very well because its made to fit well as a climbing pack.

I bought this pack to use on multi-pitch climbs and also short day hikes. It's the perfect size (for reference, I was able to fit my approach shoes, a water bottle, a guide book, some snacks, and a rope bag into it for a shorter multi the other day). I also have used it as my personal item while flying. Unfortunately it is just barely too small to fit my 17" laptop (but mine is a bit larger than most to compensate for a nicer keyboard). But that's a very minor issue for me. Highly recommended.

I love them. The brand makes the best backpacks that are so durable. I use it as my hiking and biking backpack. I make it the tightest fit and it carries my bottle of water and a pair of shoes when I go hiking.

Great attack pack! Sturdy, simple, well designed. Love it! I’ve used it on all day multi pitch climbs, day hikes/ trail runs and just around town. Perfect for all of the above. Had it for a year, it’s endured all kinds of abuse and looks brand new.

A hearty pack! I use it for bouldering.rock climbing both indoors and outdoors. It easily fits a pair of shoes, harness, chalk bag (standard size), carabiner, deodorant, keys, wallet, phone, travel battery pack, and climbing tape. With room!Honestly, I needed a minimalist pack that could still get the job done. This pack did just what I needed - I was skeptical at first, to be honest, but when I got the pack...it's a little bigger than you expect and from what's pictured. Definitely worth the sub-$60 price.

I got this bag for a flight and it turned out to be really good. Was able to fit many essentials for my 9h flight. Looks awesome too!

This backpack was almost ideal for what I got it for.This worked as a day hiking back, crag bag, and grocery bag. It held all my snack, water and headlamp for my strenuous hikes, it held my chalk bag, shoes and harness (if I needed anything else in there I would need to attach it to the outside) and it fit a decent amount of groceries in it. My only complaint was that I wish it had water bottle holders on the outside, and it had more padding on the back. other than that it was perfect!
