The Complete Book of Dragons

My 7yr old son loves this book. If you're child loves "how to train your dragon" this is a must buy with details illustrations and specifications off tons of dragons.

I preordered this book as my daughter, aged 9, loves all things How to train your Dragon. It arrived today. What really surprised me is that firstly the book is good quality hardback (which I wasn't expecting when I ordered it) and secondly, all of the pages are full colour printed on glossy paper. It really is a lovely, solid book to look at. When I showed it to my husband he was equally impressed. It does stand out from the other books. The pages are a mixture of colour illustrations and text on glossy paper, scribbles and doodles but there is still plenty of text to be read on some of the pages. I've not had a detailed look through it but it almost looks like hiccup's diary, or a very good quality notebook that he has compiled (which I believe is the objective!) My daughter informs me that there is also more tuition on "how to speak dragonese" which she is very happy about. She is delighted with the book and cannot wait to start reading it. I think she will refer to it time and time again both for the text, and the pictures, and I would definitely recommend it if you or someone you know loves this series of books.

Wow! I can't wait to give this to my Grandson - I will have to read it too!! A super quality book, with lovely illustrations - with everything a young person could need to know about dragons, how to catch them, train them, which dragons make the best pets, the different types of dragon eggs - you name it and it is covered in this book.

this is the first cressida cowell book i have bought for my son. we love the illustrations and information about dragons. he's still too young to read it himself, but it has eased our ability to feed his need for knowledge about dragons!
