When you buy the helmet, is the color random or is it grey like in the pictures?

There are six different colors pictured, and the color you get is random choice. These are original surplus helmets that were in service for decades.

The Helmet shell size is not guaranteed, only the size ink stamp on the liner in the helmet. Also the liners in the helmets run about 2cm in circumference smallet than what they are marked. For instance, a 57cm marked liner will not fit ypur head if your head measures 57cm. I bought two and they were at least 2cm smaller than marked. You will receive a 64 size shell, a 64 size shell will only fit a maximum of a size 57 reproduction German M31 liner, no larger.

We offer many sizes ranging from a 55cm to a 60 cm, they are each listed separately.

Yes it is a real German Helmet. I did read somewhere that the Helmets were used by Scandinavian Military. I would check into that. Still a great collection Piece.
