La Choy Sliced Bamboo Shoots, 8 oz Can

These cans arrived on time and well-packaged. When you get right down to it, bamboo shoots are plain old wood, but boy do they add to a dish. We use them with teriyaki bowls, sweet and sour soup, and even salads. There's a slight flavor that does add to a dish's taste. If you know Chinese food, you'll recognize it. Very nice complement to many different dishes. Not cheap, but very good.

Got to have good bamboo shoots when making vegetable chow mein from scratch. La Choy is my go to for keeping my canned supply filled. I've never gotten a bad batch or been disappointed with the final results when adding these to my dish. I have mobility issues so being able to restock online is a plus for me & the price was right,

I make weight watcher chili with this and bamboo shoots and bean sprouts and muschoorms with tomato paste or sauce and to ground beef and onion and chili powder- for us hefty girls

Expensive product. Can was dented It appears and tastes fresh and not expired

Occasionally, I add some of these ingredients to the salad. Although their flavors are not very strong, they can bring a different texture.
