It is a good product, but the mouse wheel is not working, and I really don't like that and is not old enough to be already broken. I bought it on May 01, 2023. I really like the wireless mouse thing but need them to work. I probably expecting too much from the product and that is why I rate it 4 stars. I did not rate the battery life because batteries are not included with the product.

I have worked from home for years and I purchased this set a few years back and it was WONDERFUL. The quiet keyboard and mouse was quiet enough so my baby would sleep next to me right through the clicking. After that one finally wore out, I purchased another and did not have the same luck. I have purchased this same set six times now and I suppose I’m going to have to give up on it. At first, it works like a dream. The mouse is petite, lightweight, and scrolls smoothly. The keyboard has normal keys (as opposed to odd shaped or “flat” keys), and is super quiet. After a while, anywhere from a few months to a few weeks, it will have fits when it has a mind of its own. It will miss keystrokes or “stick” and enter the same key more than intended. The mouse will begin to scroll so fast it will take you much further than you intended to go. Or it will have a slight lag to it and you have to move it very slowly to ensure you don’t accidentally click the wrong thing. This slows work way down. I can take the batteries out and it might work fine for a little while but sometimes that doesn’t change anything. When this set is working the way it’s supposed to, I LOVE it. But when it’s not... it’s really disappointing. I hate to give up on it because it’s truly perfect when working properly, but I just can’t keep up this Groundhog Day of buying and returning this same set.

Lasted for about 2 years, but I'm finally getting a replacement due to the problems I've had with this set. The mouse has frequent issues including clicking by itself and the wheel being practically non-functional after a certain point (despite regular cleaning and care). The keyboard does not log all keystrokes and the letters began to fade after about 1 & 1/2 years. The wireless connectivity has been pretty good, but the dongle is prone to overheating which causes the mouse and keyboard to cease functioning. The set does have a good battery life.

Easy to set up and works right away. The keyboard is quiet and comfortable for studying and homework. Great value for students.

I think it's been a year since I bought them. The mouse is only just starting to go, the scroll wheel stopped working. So I'm very impressed considering I used to go through mice quickly. Batteries last forever too in both the keyboard and mouse. The only complaint I have is that shape of the mouse. I wish it were longer and a pinch more flat. I have little lady hands yet I still feel like my hand are all hunched up or something. Also if you get a USB adapter for your android phone and plug in the Bluetooth adapter but this mouse and keyboard set, it works flawlessly! Neat little trick to annoy my iPhone using best friend.

I'm very hard on keyboards, so it was yet again time for another replacement. I purchased this set because I've been getting a lot of connection drops with my usb mouse due to a loose internal wire. This Amazon Basics set is nice. I like the tilt level of the keyboard. It is indeed nice and quiet. I am taking a star away due to 2 factors. I find that the keyboard does drop letters if you aren't being very firm on your letter presses and I do not like the fact that the mouse wheel has zero "click" on the scroll wheel. The scroll wheel is entirely smooth in both the action and the feel. There is no texture on the wheel to allow your finger any traction and there is no click feel when you scroll to allow for precision.

This is a great mouse and keyboard set. I wanted a "silent" set for some time, but they are so expensive in store. This pair comes at a very reasonable price! I'll begin with the mouse: it is just the right size for me. I have smaller hands but the mouse sits very comfortably and the "compact" part of its name suits it well. It is not huge or bulky, and it is very lightweight. The wheel is smooth and sensitive and the clicking has stayed very quiet despite months of use - something I was worried about. It glides on my mousepad nicely and I have never had any lagging issues. It is actually quite responsive. Onto the keyboard: I particularly like the layout. Everything is very straightforward aside from the fact that you have to use the function key along with the F# keys to change volume, but that is not an issue for me. Keys have also been super quiet since day one despite daily use and I have never had an issue with stickiness or the keys not registering. Connection on its own has remained perfect, and the battery life is fantastic. Have not had to change batteries since purchasing this set in October. I am very happy with their performance thus far.
