The Best Controller i have ever Tried ( 3 months tested )
The Best Controller i have ever Tried and i own quite a few . Ive also done a review on YT but im not allowed to post the link in here , but if you search on YT {Cheapskate Gaming Ultimate 2 review } you should find it After latest UPDATE : the controller is now Switch 2 compatible available through the 8bitdo Ultimate software Hub Unboxing Experience: The 8BitDo Ultimate 2 Wireless Controller comes in a white cardboard box with a striking slipcover that showcases the device, along with a charging dock, 2.4G adapter, and a USB cable. Design and Comfort: The controller has a sleek, lightweight design with an ergonomic layout that feels comfortable during long gaming sessions. Enhanced Features: The controller features TMR joysticks, which offer high precision and a significant improvement over previous models. The stick resolution has increased from 35 to 735 positions, making it a serious competitor to premium models. Additional Buttons: The controller includes extra mappable buttons, such as L4/R4 bumpers and back paddles, which can be customized for different games. Trigger and Bumper Improvements: The Hall Effect triggers are responsive and can be locked into digital mode using switches on the back of the controller. The bumpers also have a tactile treatment that makes them feel more like buttons than levers. Connectivity Options: The controller supports 2.4G wireless, Bluetooth, and wired connections, all with minimal latency. Battery Life: The battery life is sufficient for long gaming sessions, Software and Customization: The controller comes with customizable software that allows users to remap buttons and adjust settings. This is now my Daily Driver for PC gaming with Zero issues experienced after 3 months Use !!!

Worth every penny!!
Great build quality, ergonomically comfortable, familiar gamepad footprint for most players, USB-C wireless dongle and bluetooth compatibility (PC & Android), micro switches, TMR joysticks and a 20+ hour battery life. The RGB is a nice touch. I got rid of my Razer Wolverine V3 Pro after 48 hours of using this and good riddence. Ignore the people crying about weird Gyro issues, this isnt the PS3 era. And for switch compatibility, go buy the switch version or use what it came with.

Software breaks at times. Controller is great
Honestly the controller is great. I'm only having issues with the software and somewhat consistently. Controller itself and dock work great. I've had itt for a couple months now and so far there's no wear. Everythings responsive and the plastic doesn't feel cheap which is important since you're handling it for so long. Can't speak for the battery life but lasts at least 3-4 hours. Lighting designs are a nice touch. Back padles are a must for me and it works great. Software has issues opening. My only real gripe with it. But I sometimes have to restart my pc if it doesn't open. Nothing task manager can do to help, it just gives me some foreign text saying "can't open or something" once it opens it works well. But I like to change controls at times and can't do it reliably. Overall a 9/10.

Runs on Linux.
As far as hardware goes, this controller is brilliant. I don't personally need a new controller, I have an Xbox Elite 2, but this controller really does compete in build quality. I bought this for my woman for Valentine's. She's really happy with it. I use Linux Nobara, and she uses PikaOS (also Linux). I picked this for Linux compatibility. Now in Steam you have to activate Steam input for generic controllers, and it works great. The not so good: * There is no Linux version of the PC software to update firmware. They can't not know that people use it for Linux. * No matter how many times I try I cannot seem to switch from Dinput to Xinput. It's super infuriating. Maybe I'm doing something wrong. But I had to use Steam input to get it working. It's only Steam-Settings-Controller-[click the toggle] but still: sort out your software 8BitDon't!

Great controller for a great price
Up until now I have been using my PS4 controller with my PC, but I've recently got rid of my PS4 necessitating the need for a replacement. for the price I'm really impressed with this controller. its got a nice weight to it and feels solid. Its also super convenient having the wireless dongle plugged into the charging base. I'm used to having to re-pair my old controller each time I wanted to use it on the PC, now I just pick it up and its instantly connected and fully charged. I had tried to go full gaming PC bro and only use the mouse and keyboard but I've found that most games are more enjoyable with a controller. Looking at online reviews it appears that I won't suffer with the dreaded stick drift that plagued all my PS controllers with the TMR sticks and hall effect triggers and I assume this has made me at least 90% better at gaming. Given that I'm used to PlayStation style controllers, I was initially going to get a PS5 dual sense controller but this was more expensive with worse internal gubbins and I certainly wasn't going to re-mortgage my house to get the ridiculously priced dualsense edge. If, like me you are distinctly average at gaming (or anything in life I guess), you'll struggle to find any negatives. I've not had it that long so can't attest to its longevity but can't see any obvious reason it won't last.

Absolutely fantastic!
This is the best controller I’ve ever used on the pc. Beats the Xbox controllers. My only gripe is that it’s a little small for my hands, but I’ve got used to it quickly. The software isn’t the best, but it does work once you have got to terms with it. The rumble is very good! As are the rgb lights. The build quality is amazing, I was expecting it to be light, but it’s heavy and sturdy! The dock is good quality and has a nice pass through feature for the dongle. Definitely worth every penny. Highly recommend!

Fantastic controller. This model has resolved all of my issues with the original 8bitdo Ultimate while adding some welcome new features. Notably, the dpad is significantly improved, the rumble motors are fixed (Ultimate 1 rumble was so terrible I don't think I could describe it as anything other than completely broken) and the 2.4G wireless is much more reliable with better range. On the previous generation model I would frequently get delayed inputs and connection dropout with the 2.4G receiver in the docking station less than 6 feet away; no such issues with this controller. I also really dig the purple color and hope we continue to see 8bitdo controllers rolling out in colors other than black, white and retro gray. One downgrade I'd say is they switched from membranes to microswitches for the bumpers. This changes the tactile feedback (I wouldn't say better or worse, just different) but the main drawback is this change makes the bumper click obnoxiously loud. You kinda get used to it after a while but it's still annoying, detracts from the otherwise premium construction and ultimately the controller would be better if they stuck with a membrane. That said, the switch they used is at least good quality, better than what is used on controllers like the Gamesir Nova 2 Lite by far - those controllers usle basically mouse button switches and they suck. Regarding the additions, the new L4 and R4 macro buttons are great and well placed, and the new hairline triggers are fantastic. I've been using this controller as my primary controller for Silksong when playing on my TV instead of my Steam Deck, and having the two extra bumpers to complement the two rear paddles for macros is great and the button parity with the Steam Deck is appreciated. The Ultimate V2 software is alright, I'd say it gets the job done but a little janky and leaves a lot to be desired. However I had no issues configuring macros for Silksong (dpad down + x on rear paddles for down slash, plus dpad up + r1 on L4 and dpad down + r1 on R4 for tools). The thumbstick RGB is a nice touch, a gimmick for sure but I won't say no to what is a nicely implemented personalization feature which also helps indicate which macro profile you are using, all at no extra cost over the previous generation. Only thing I'll note is the software doesn't give a ton of customization for the RGB lighting behavior, just two modes which illuminate based on certain inputs, and I didn't see any way to configure the lighting effect for the default macro profile. There are still some things I'd like to see for the next generation. I do wish the face buttons were swappable like the 8bitdo pro 3, I suspect that will be included in the next refresh. I also with they included alternate thumbsticks - they don't advertise this but the thumbstick tips and stems are hot swappable but they currently don't include any extras in the box nor sell them on the 8bitdo website. In summary, it's the best controller I've ever used. This will be my go-to controller for PC games moving forward and I'll probably pick up one or two of the Switch compatible version of this controller to replace my old Ultimate 1 BT and Switch Pro controller for my Switch 2. Highly recommend grabbing these, especially if you can get them on sale - I got it 25% off MSRP on sale which is an absolute steal. At this point 8bitdo has cornered the market on quality controllers in my opinion, buying an official Switch 2 Pro controller or an Xbox controller for PC gaming would frankly be a total waste of money, you're paying more for less with those controllers.

Thumb-sticks are smooth and accurate. The shoulder buttens are mouse-click, the triggers can also be switched to mouse click too. The face buttons aren't mouse-click but have a satisfying click to them same goes with the dpad just wish the dpad was stiffer though. I have no problems with the battery. When using bluetooth mode ur controller can forget or not connect to the previous device if u switched to the 2.4ghz sometimes but its easy to pair to. Now to the reason why i bought this specific one it was for the gyroscope capabilities, i play games such as pubg mobile with gyro enable so i have now lost my abilty to aim with the thumb sticks , so i have been using the gyro instead its smooth i dont feel any noticeable latency when using it. It can be set up in 2 ways u can either use the 8bitdo app or you can use steam. When u connect the controller u must press the on button and the B button at the same time so it goes into d input mode which enables steam to detect the conrollers other buttons as well so u can map any function to them rather than just making it a botton already on the controller.

Command epour mon fils...

Sinceramente, estoy encantado. Muy buena relación calidad-precio y funcionalidades my útiles.
