We used these for a back to school party as a hand out. They are good quality 12in rulers. Not super thick, but thick enough to not break easily.

These rulers seem to be the same as what you'd buy in the stores, except they're a lot cheaper when buying in bulk.

These work exactly as expected and get the job done, but after using them a few times I noticed the ends can feel a little rough and I’m now a bit worried about getting splinters on my fingers with extended use. They’re functional and sturdy, but I’d handle them carefully. Overall a good product, just wish the finish was a bit smoother.

It might sound strange to give these wooden rulers as Christmas gifts, but I bought fifty to put in the Samaritan's Purse Operation Christian Child shoeboxes which our church is sending. Of course, wooden rulers would be ignored by most kids in America (what with cell phones, computers, game controllers, etc), but in remote places around the world, kids have probably not even seen a wooden ruler much less get a shoebox full of toys, school supplies, and hygiene products.
