Excellent EDC/Gentleman's Knife
I got this knife because I wanted something slim and lightweight, but also blacked-out (that's my style), and this knife checks off those boxes perfectly! It's also in D2 steel, which in my opinion, is still one of the best metals out there (just go watch some of the cut and stress testing videos on YouTube). I really like the reverse Tanto blade shape, too, because it's easy to resharpen, great for opening packages and cutting in general (and it looks cool). The blade flicks open super easy with the flipper tab, which is well placed and has some jimping on it. The blade was razor sharp out of the box. The knife overall is the perfect size for everyday carry in just about every environment - work, church, family time, or even at the gym. It's that light and slim, yet solid and sturdy because it's well built out of good materials. The only thing I can think of that would make this knife absolutely perfect (and I'm nitpicking here) is if the pocket clip was reversible. I'm a leftie, so that naturally came to mind. Overall, you can't beat this knife for the price if you want a slim, stylish, and well built knife that is perfect for everyday carry in just about any environment.

Reliable, Sharp, and Built to Last!
I’ve been carrying this pocketknife for a while now, and it’s quickly become one of my favorite everyday tools. The blade came razor sharp right out of the box and holds its edge really well, even after cutting rope, cardboard, and light wood. The action is smooth, the lock feels solid, and the handle has a great grip — comfortable enough for daily use and sturdy enough for tougher jobs. What really stands out is the build quality. It feels premium in the hand without being bulky, and the pocket clip keeps it secure but easy to access. I’ve used it on job sites, camping trips, and for random day-to-day tasks, and it’s never let me down. If you’re looking for a dependable EDC knife that balances performance, comfort, and style, this one’s hard to beat.

Great value, sleek, cool, and comfy to use.
Light, sharp, has smooth action, and feels good in your hand. It's also got a sleek compact design that looks cool. The only gripe I have, is the locking mechanism is a little more difficult to get your thumb on and close then I'm used to. But honestly it's not a deal-breaker for me, I just have to put a slight touch more effort into closing it. Everything else about the knife is great.

Decent.
Nice little blade for the money. Build quality feels solid, 8/10. Sharpness, in comparison to some of the sharpest blades in the world, solid 6/10, which is great for the price. Fit, excellent. Locking mechanism seems solid. I’ll update in the event of lock mechanism failure. Functionally, it’s great. Discrete and compact - Great for work use. Only problem is that the clip should be reversible.

Needed More
I’m unsure how to rate because I am returning because this just want my style. I can deal with a small knife but slim knives, I realized, aren’t my favorite. Remette makes a wonderful knife and trying to offer more budget options. This is one of those for under $30 at times. Comes with microfiber cloth. Knife has ceramic bearings, with smooth g10 scales that offer some grip thanks to some milled design. Liner lock design with good lock up. Steel liners that are not inset. Blade is made of D2 steel that is sharp with a good HRC rating. Back flipper is the only method of deployment and works well. The pocket clip is huge for the knife with a very large tale at the end. I feel like this was the largest flaw and a total afterthought of design. Overall, if you can find an aftermarket clip, your cutting tasks are light, and you just want something that is slim in your pocket this might be a good option.

What the Gerber Pledge wishes it was.
I'm a Kershaw man, but this is a nice knife. Opens quick and easy, build quality feels good, and price was very nice. Wanted something slim, ordered a Gerber Pledge, and returned it the same day. Will definitely have to check out some more Remette knives.

Great knife. Ingenius design.
I like this knife. It is very sleek and compact, but still provides an equivalent size blade to normal knives. There is no spring to wear out because it is held closed by a small steel dome on the blade that lands in a steel socket in the handle. When you pull the flipper hard enough to break the dome loose, the knife snaps open as if it was spring assist. You don’t have to pull the flipper any harder than you would on a Kershaw spring-assist knife. Ingenious design.
