It works great

For the price, you can't beat this solid little unit. Well built, easy to use, and allows me to watch multiple inputs on one TV. A few years ago, my friend paid thousands for this kind of setup and showed it off in his living room. I was amazed. Now I have the same setup for less than 50 bucks! You can select which audio source you want and the remote handles most features quite easily. Great gift idea for your sports buddies - Christmas is coming. I'd love to receive this.

For the price (last time I looked it was around $30), you could well find a use for this. I've watched a pair of games simultaneously using my cable and an internet hook up. For that it was perfectly fine. I was told by a friend (who is a gamer type) that for playing PS 5 it's not going to be useful. Latency issues cause delays and make the gaming impossible. But for showing videos from the internet, cable or other sources, you'll be fine. Not the most advanced or useful tool, but then for the price you're not expecting that. If you have a purpose for which it's suited, then well worth it. For higher performance tasks, you'd best look elsewhere.

This HDMI multiviewer does exactly what I want! I love to watch sports outside under my carport. I have multiple Fire sticks connected so I can stream 4 different games at the same time. I have not tested it under any other screen settings (2 sources only, for example). I am also not a gamer. I do not know how it handles games. If you want to watch sports with 4 on the screen at a time, then this is a great option. The price at the time of this review is $51.00. This seems comparable to others.

Horrible latency, I shouldn't have bought this

I'm not totally sure how to rate this. It's a good concept especially on big sports days where they are all on at the same time but the only problem is, you'd need 4 cable boxes, or sources. Most people don't have access to 4 boxes for one tv. Once I was able to connect 4 sources, cable box, ps5, laptop and a phone, the unit kept shocking me and then shut off. In theory, it's a good concept, but I'd only use it on occasion, not everyday. Video wise, it's decent quality, but if you're ever going to play video games on it, don't. It's too laggy for timing based games and sound doesn't sync up. Good idea, OK execution.

The multiviewer is an interesting unit. Very nice if you want to watch multiple things at one time and for the price, a decent 4x1 HDMI switch. Love it! I've not perceived any real degradation in video quality, though I'm not using in a theater type environment... but I may after seeing what it is capable of doing. Most of it was intuitive and works right out of the box. I did have to consult the manual to see what was going on with audio as it did seem to be switching. Turns out, my fault as I was treating the infrared remote as a RF remote. Once you actually point it at the box, it worked fine. Liked: - nice solid construction - easily controlled all video inputs - can switch the audio to another input if needed - will work as a simple 4x1 HDMI switch - remote with easy to see buttons Could be better: - the remote, it is infrared and not RF - the remote, not real strong, I had to point it right at the box. Pointing it any other direction even several feet away would not work. - aspect ratio. It stretches the aspect ratio so you may not really use it as much as you think. I personally would not want to watch it in side-by-side (2 input only) mode. Would be nice if it had the ability for you to keep the aspect ratio even though the video is smaller. For the cost, it is a great value. Currently I'm using it to watch my surveillance system with Google TV. :-) Yes, two inputs on the 4 input screen to keep the aspect ratio sort of normal.

We've tried various other multi viewers in the past and they've never worked right. This is the first one that actually has. It does what it says it does. We use it to split the screen for gaming, but it can do more than that. Setup was simple and it comes with a remote control. I'd recommend this.
