I love this spice. It's so lemony and fragrant. It has a slightly tart taste as well. You can use a lot of it, and it gives it such a nice flavor. It's perfect for chicken, and the price is fantastic.

I’m pleasantly surprised that this is such a wonderful spice. I’ve never tried Sumac before and I’m going to try it in more of my recipes. What a fantastic addition to salads, tofu and rice. I made a roasted veggie salad and can’t wait to try it with some pasta.

This spice is new to me, and I like it. Since I don’t use salt, I’m trying different condiments to perk up vegetables. This Sumac is inexpensive adds to the flavor of everything I’ve used it on. I still have more things to try it on. People in the Middle East use it on a wide variety of food.

I have tried making some spice blends and condiments that asked for sumac. Was not available locally. This seems to be a good quality product, I wished it had a better label. Not much information given. Looking it up I find that it is used when lemon is not available. It is more than a sour taste, there is an interesting flavor that remains in your mouth. Sort of like that sweet taste after eating artichokes? This one is sour.
