Michigan Drinking Water and Environmental Health Division Informs me that the Watflow water meter is not a drinking meter as per their standard (attachment 1, MI Code R325.12102) which requires only NSF-61 certified lead-free meter be used. As per California Code § 116875 (attachment 2), any drinking water meter sold, installed, or used in California must comply with NSF/ANSI 61 and 372. Watflow listing “the water meter is fully suitable for drinking water” is cheating as per the regulation of (at least) California and Michigan. I therefore return the meter.

This is a great little meter for the price it has a pulse output which you can hook up to a pulse counter. I use this water meter to monitor consumption of how much water is being filtered through my water filter system

Ce compteur fait parfaitement le travail. Les chiffres sont bien lisibles, ce qui permet un relevé rapide et sans erreur. L'installation horizontale s'est faite sans fuite avec un peu de téflon. C'est un appareil fiable qui semble fait pour durer. Bon rapport qualité-prix pour un compteur d'eau froide.
