I’ve been tempted by luxury lip balms in the $20+ range, but just couldn’t bring myself to splurge. Instead, I decided to try the Essence Peptide Lip Treatment—and I’m so glad I did. The payoff is excellent for the price. It’s moisturizing without being sticky, and the soft pink tint instantly brightens my face. The texture strikes a perfect balance—not too thick, not too thin. I also appreciate that it’s fragrance-free since my skin has been extra sensitive lately. The added peptides feel therapeutic and keep my lips comfortable and hydrated. So worth it—great value, pretty, and it completely fulfills my need for a hydrating lip balm. To top it off, it’s a clean, cruelty-free product, so I don’t have to feel guilty about doing something nice for my lips. I’m already planning to pick up the Toffee shade next!

THIS IS THE BEST lip gloss I've ever had and I'm obsessed. It feels really nourishing and not very sticky, sometimes I want to put it on at night before bed instead of my lip mask because it just feels so great. Also the toffee color is absolutely the most perfect shade I have ever found for myself personally - I'm very pale and my face is almost permanently blushed red so reds and pinks and purples always make me look like a clown, but this color is exactly what I've been looking for: just a little color to make me look alive. I've already reordered a couple times and I wonder if I should stock up in case it's ever discontinued.

This is a great lip gloss. It keeps my lips soft and moisturized all day and all night. I originally purchased the lighter tint which I use at night. I recently bought one of the darker shades which is lovely. Enough color to look healthy but not an “in your face” color explosion which I do not like. I’m prone to chapped lips year round, and this has finally staved off the painful dryness and cracking that I experience in climate control and cold weather.

Hey y’all—this is a really nice everyday gloss. It feels hydrating, not sticky, and gives a pretty natural shine. I like using it on its own or over a liner for a little more definition. Easy to keep in your bag and reapply throughout the day. I will give it an eight out of 10 in hydration as I wish it lasted a little bit longer. The texture of it is super smooth and glossy. For the price you should have it in every color! it’s a steal

I love the thick consistency and the scent is good, it’s like marshmallow or sugar cookies. My lips feel super nourished, they actually stay hydrated with these. These are very reasonably priced, not a lot is needed for my dry lips that peel often so this actually lasts long! My lips haven’t peeled with this at all, I’ll never stop using this lip treatment gloss…I’m considering getting a bunch just to never run out.

Light pink color and smells sweet, but no actual sweetness in flavor which is kind of weird. Personally I would have preferred no smell/flavor at all instead of a fake cotton candy like smell. It seems fairly hydrating. My main gripe is how sticky it feels. I prefer a more smooth gloss.

I purchased this balm on a whim after using other, much more expensive peptide lip treatments. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice it felt going on, especially given the low cost. It isn't sticky, makes your lips feel nice and smooth, and is a good overnight treatment or base before you apply lip color. Would definitely purchase again.

Questo Glossy Lip Treatment di Essence è stata una vera scoperta: un trattamento labbra idratante, levigante e super piacevole da usare! La texture è fluida e confortevole, non appiccica, e lascia un velo lucido rosa delicato che dona subito un aspetto curato e sano. Lo uso soprattutto la sera, prima di andare a dormire, oppure qualche ora prima di applicare rossetti o tinte labbra matte: funziona davvero! Le labbra restano morbide, idratate, nutrite…senza bisogno di riapplicazioni continue. Contiene peptidi, burro di karité e vitamina E: una combinazione perfetta per coccolare la pelle delle labbra. E il fatto che sia cruelty free per me è un valore aggiunto importantissimo. 🐰💕 Rapporto qualità-prezzo ottimo, packaging carinissimo e pratico. Chi dice che i prodotti low cost siano solo per le teenager si sbaglia di grosso! A 43 anni porto questo gloss nel mio beauty case con un orgoglio estremo, perché il rapporto qualità-prezzo di questo brand è, ancora una volta, imbattibile. Cosa sono questi "Peptidi" e come funzionano? (Spiegato easy!) Immaginate i peptidi come dei piccoli messaggeri per la vostra pelle. Sono frammenti di proteine che "bussano" alle cellule delle labbra e dicono: "Ehi, datevi da fare! Producete più collagene!". In parole povere: non si limitano a ungere la superficie, ma aiutano le labbra a sembrare naturalmente più piene, toniche e levigate dall'interno. Perché lo preferisco come maschera notturna? Devo essere onesta sulla texture: per i miei gusti è un po' troppo "pastoso" e denso da indossare durante il giorno, è molto ricco e si sente. Per questo ho trovato la svolta: lo uso come maschera labbra notturna. Ne applico uno strato generoso prima di dormire e l'effetto è magico. Al mattino mi sveglio con labbra meravigliose, morbidissime e perfettamente idratate (addio pellicine!), visibilmente rimpolpate e distese. Verdetto finale: se cercate un trattamento urto che faccia davvero il suo lavoro senza spendere una fortuna in brand di lusso, correte a prenderlo. Essence si conferma una garanzia anche per le pelli più mature che cercano sostanza e risultati concreti.
