Garmin Instinct 2S Solar Rugged GPS Smartwatch, Graphite

I came from using a Garmin Instinct 2x Solar Tactical. I wanted a watch with similar features but smaller than the 50mm 2x tactical. The instinct 2s is perfect for that at just 40mm. I've been using this for a bit now and really enjoy it. Objectively in 2025 it's a bit dated, but it does everything I need. It's perfect for GPS tracking bike rides. Battery life has been good at about 20 days with a full charge. Sticking it on the charger while in the shower keeps it near full all the time. I've not tested how effective the solar panel is, but it does charge as I've seen the battery top off on all day outside events. The only feature I miss is the flashlight that is on the 2x tactical. Beyond that this is my daily watch for tracking sleep, calories, elevation, and GPS routes. The price as of 2025 is reasonable. It's also nice being virtually identical to the instinct 2x in terms of functionality. I will say the strap is very small. I have 7.25" wrists and I've got 5 holes left in the strap, which is barely enough for the two strap keepers to go around. If your wrist is much larger, plan on a larger strap.

I believed it used unit box damaged, screeen sticker removed, charger cable not inside the plastic watch already set language in arabic.

Eine tolle Uhr mit unglaublich vielen Highlights, die ich persönlich gar nicht alle nutzen kann. Die Lieferung kam schnell und ordentlich verpackt. Die Uhr ist nicht gerade preiswert, aber ich habe noch keine Minute bereit diesen Schritt getan zu haben. Die Accu Laufzeit ist durch die eingebaute Solartechnik unschlagbar.

Item bought as a gift and he seems really happy with it. Arrived well before due date so more than happy.

Bought as gift, feedback was: excellent watch, loved that it had solar and battery lasted ages, very rugged look and screen visibility is good. Only drawback is that it has no link to music for when he goes biking/running, so will therefore trade to a model that includes this feature.

Very satisfied, nice lightweight adventure watch with so many features included that it's impossible to see through everything at first. It's easy to learn how to navigate with the buttons, the build quality is good as well. The monochrome MIP display and the rugged appearance doesn't scream 'Smartwatch' and I really adore that, I even chose a matching watchface from the ConnectIQ store. I didn't like the original band to an extent that I replaced it (basically any 20mm Garmin or imitation replacement band will do the job). I am not having any expectations regarding the solar charging - I chose this model because of the GarminPay, which is not available in the base model.
