Firstly these replaced a ‘branded’ grinder set - ones very similar in design yet had broken on the clear plastic element on the pepper grinder. I was most disappointed as I’ve found this style of grinder set to be really good otherwise. Well, having seen these at less than half the price, but extremely similar in overall design, I took a punt. I wasn’t dissatisfied! These are great. Slightly larger than my previous grinder set too, yet still relatively compact, so stand nicely on my work surface and don’t take up too much space. Fit, finish and quality is very high. They feel good in terms of weight and look the part. They grind salt and pepper easily and the action is very easy. Would highly recommend.

It has a pressing mechanism you cannot get any decent amount out you have too press about 20 times for a small amount and the pressing mechanism often gets stuck which is a pain especially if you have bad hands like me especially with the coarse salt. Far too small can hardly get any decent amount in them and by the time you have sprinkled a bit it is time to refill which is very difficult to do due to it's small size and you have to take the item apart and there is a massive bar compared to to the grinder in the way regular bits of coarse salt or large bits of pepper won't fit in.

love these no problems yet, look stylish on the table. update on these, the pepper broke a few weeks ago but I managed to fix it however the salt has now broken and unable to fix it, not impressed they only lasted just over 6 months but you get what you pay for.

These are great little grinders. Easy to use, easy to fill, but still have some weight to them. They don't feel cheap. I want to buy extra sets to have in the dining room, kitchen, and to fill with other things like chilli flakes. Great product at a great price.

They look good but can be difficult to grind on occasions because the plunger sticks, jams, etc. Clears with a bit more pressure. However, after less than eight months use the one used for salt has now broken. The thread on the plastic 'viewing' section will not now hold the grinder section. Clearly the pressure applied by the plunger action has worn it away / weakened it somehow. Fortunately, the dumping of all the salt in the item onto the dinner plate only caused the loss of a few chips!!

Fantastic quality, lovely heavy solid chrome materials, stylish and practical, can get a little stuck at times when build up of salt rocks are to solid to grind with one hand however easy to overcome and doesn't happen often.

Love this small stainless steel salt and pepper grinder set. Couldn't believe how heavy they were as they are only 6'' high. Good not having to think about replacing batteries. Nice looking too. Would be handy if you liked going on picnics . Very good value for money.

An excellent product. We had a smaller set of this style which we had used for years but wanted a bigger pair and are delighted with these, easy to handle and work perfectly. (If you wanted to make them totally perfect, our previous set sat in a fitted perspex holder which made them even smarter)
